    Excellent post.

Have you been a ducks fan long enough to compare him to other ducks qb's you've followed?

saw clemens against ou this year in there bowl game. looks smaller on playing field and loves to throw the long ball. main concern is he really tries to make something out of nothing which cost the ducks the bowl game.

I'll start dancing as soon as I see if the organ grinder can play a tune. Clemens stated in a recent interview he was halfway between 6ft. and 6ft. 1in. I don't believe it has ever been an issue worth talking about because with all his positives, height won't matter, he'll learn to levitate. I can't imagine why he didn't go #1 overall. He does have a great press agent but he should change his handle to "semirealisticduck" or maybe "dreamlandduck". Fouts, Kelly, Unitas, Clemens? No parallels to Namath?

hes one of many guys . our name was all over we had a darkhorse thing going.

so that doesnt make him stupid, the guy was a former Pro QB, and even though not a SUPERB analyst hes straight forward and pleads a good case.

    Jetbugga,

I'm not sure who you saw throwing, but it wasn't Clemens. He missed the bowl game with the broken ankle.

Since Dennis Dixon (the starting QB for Oregon in that game) is 6'4, skinny and black and Brady Leaf (the QB who replaced Dixon and finished the game)is 6'5 and would have trouble outrunning some of his offensive linemen, I'm kind of curious who you were looking at.

Thanks for the information. I think point number five is the most impressive point because it speaks to his ability to digest information and adapt. Once again, thanks.

Who knows what would have happened if all or most of our players stayed healthy....That was a very good team on paper... I didn't think they would be as strong as paper :(

Its posters like this that keeps alot of us coming back to this board time and time again.

Even if its a bit of a homer (not saying it is...nobody knows yet I guess), its so well thought out and done by someone that really knows what the hell they are talking about...firsthand.

    Great post.

At the end of the day, whether Clemens is the steal of the draft will be determined only by his performance on the field during the regular season.

First off, having Jaws' seal of approval on this guy means a lot. He's one of the few folks at ESPN that don't have thier heads in thier ass. He knows tape and he knows talent.

I don't know much about Kellen...sounds like a good guy.

Ramsey is your man. Heart, character, strong arm, strong work ethic.

Jason Campbell will not be good pro QB. He was only a good college QB with a simple offensive system and two outsanding running backs in the backfield. His release is very slow and he processes the on field info slowly. I am an Auburn season ticket holder and watched both his bad seasons and his one good season. Please don't get me wrong....I don't want him to do bad...just my honest assesment.

Being an SEC fan, I never saw Clemens in action.........but I've heard good things about him for months.....based on what I've heard, I think we got a stud!
