BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Are good marketing reps getting too expensive for Other Al, now?
I don't see how you can disagree with their decision. Lawsuits are thrown around like crazy nowadays. Just think if they DIDN'T include a punter on the package! They'd be sued for false advertising faster than Scott Norwood can miss a field goal!
The Bills lost the game 6-3 "highlights.............." http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2009101101/2009/REG5/browns@bills#tab:watch
They clearly wanted to use a photo that had the scoreboard in the background so they could individualize the flyers. These were the best comments from the profootballtalk page- "If you aren't going to renew your season tickets because of that picture, than you aren't a real fan of the team anyway." "Must be a slow NFL news day......this is a lame story." "Would it of mattered to the Bills fans if they were punting from their opponents 30? Honestly it's not a big deal."
The fact that the photo is of a punt would not be an issue for me if I was a Bills fan. It's actually a good football photo. I'm not sure a still of Fred Jackson would have better captured my attention. I agree with others about the issue of the specific game. If they used a punting photo from one of the Bills victories it would have been a better choice. The snow game vs Indianapolis would have been good if not for the fact they needed to use a photo that captured the scoreboard. They probably don't have any such photos from the snow game.
I did actually watch the entire dreadful game to see how some players I had on my fantasy team bench performed and it was possibly the worst game I have ever watched in my entire life. Not even the defences were good despite the low score and on top of it all Jerome Harrison, one of my fantasy guys, was benched by Mangini. The only thing that cheered me up was that the insane number of drops by the Cleveland receivers made me think it was possible that Braylon Edwards didn't have such bad hands after all. Maybe it was just something they did wrong in Cleveland. But as time has shown; he had bad hands.
Is it really that hard to get a photo like that with the scoreboard in the background. You know, like maybe a goalline rushing TD or something from that same exact angle? Seriously, it's just pathetic. "That's our only photo like that." Maybe someone should have thought of that.
"Bud Light presents "Real Men Of Genius"........" Here's to you "Mr. non-sports fan sports marketing guy"........ Only you could possibly try to convince 50 thousand football fans to spend thousands of dollars by reminding them of their team's worst performance of the year...... " :shit:
