I don't remember any other NFL game that was a greater comeback. I'm curious what games make up the top four.

With out googling I would venture a guess that the Houston Oilers PO comeback win over the Buffalo Bills is right up there

I would guess that is #1 except it was Buf's comeback win over Houston.

I was at that game as my uncle used to take me to 2-3 games a year as he had business in NY at that time.

We nearly puked when we got back to the hotel ...after leaving at the end of the 3rd quarter as we were jet lagged!!!!
No glory story for me of " i was there"!!!!!

Maybe he's talking about the Titans win over Buffalo with the non-forward lateral.

Maybe that Colts comeback win over TB on MNF in '03 is up there. I'm also pretty sure there was a game back in the 80s when the Cards came back from down 28-3 to beat TB 31-28 , as insignificant of a game that had to of been........and in 1980, the 49ers came back from 35-7 to beat the Aints to keep them winless......until the following week.

We haven't had many great comebacks, never been our forte. That was a memorable game for sure, stayed in the lot listening to the post game and radio highlites until 3am, the latest I ever stayed in the lot. Glad I was one of the few that stayed all the way.

The Cardinals were losing that game 28-3 in the 4th quarter before winning 31-28.

The 49ers coming back from a 24-point deficit to defeat the Giants in the 2002 postseason would have to be high atop the list.

There have been three postseason games where a team came back from a 20 point or greater deficit-
trailing by 32, Bills beat Oilers 41-38 on 1/3/93
    trailing by 24, 49ers beat Giants 39-38 on 1/5/03
    trailing by 20, Lions beat 49ers 31-27 on 12/22/57

Another one is worth noting. This won't make the top five list, though.
On 12/1/85, the Vikings came back from a 23-0 4th quarter deficit in Philadelphia to defeat the Eagles 28-23.

Yeah maybe the Niners coming back to beat the G-Men in the playoffs might be the best but it didn't have the feel that the Monday night miracle had.

The Monday Night Miracle is a miracle for a couple of reasons - obviously there's the football, but it was also an unexplained miracle that somehow that night they managed to get at least 250,000 fans into the stadium.

Except for the obvious bad non-PI call on the kick....

Kelly didn't play, it was Frank Reich a QB.
