That's a good point. When's the last time 2 teams played each other on MNF back-to-back years?

    Yes. In January.

The Jets don't own shit in the AFCE until they start winning consecutive divsion championships.

I'm more proud of this team than ever, but I'm not calling the Jets the best until its proven. Because anything else is just foolish. I don't wanna be overconfident and sound like an Eagles fan.

It should be the Phins, so they can play highlights of the Monday night miracle.

so is us playing oakland every year... i mean, its the raiders so its almost a guaranteed win, but that wasn't always the case. in any event, it would be nice to see something change in regards to home opener vs the pats and a mid season flight to oakland.

Looking at the home opponents, anyone but Buffalo would be a good game.

that's happened due to circumstance, either we play that entire division or the Jets finished in the same place as the Raiders, so they play each other.

Sadly, its always on the West Coast.

But i'll play the Raiders every week with how embarrassingly dysfunctional that team is.

It is definitely between the Pats and the Dolphins for me, but I am going Dolphins. Those two losses last year were brutal. It would be nice to kinda get rid of the bitter taste those two games left by stomping out the fish on national television for the home opener.

I agree with NDMick. I'm fucking sick of opening against the Pats. Fuck them; anybody but them.

no better way to start off the first division championship run than beating the top dog.

i really don't care who they end up playing but i wouldn't hate it being the pats only because it's on MNF. a regular game i would be tired of having the pats to open at home.

Patriots because, for some reason, the NFL thinks that will be the biggest draw, despite the fact that Favre draws one ofthe biggest TV crowds for the NFL.

I voted for the patriots, however after reading the posts above I am now on the fence. I'll take the phins or pats. :finssuck:

I would rather open against Minny and bury favre......Cromartie will have another 3 int game
(like he did against Manning) in a 31-10 victory. Also, I forgot to mention in the 80's throwbacks!!!!

as much as id love to play the pats and show them whats what i would hate to play a division rival and lose to them while we are opening up our new stadium. i would go with the cupcake team or as close as a cupcake team you can get in the NFL

vikes, but i don't think espn would do it because if brett favre doesnt play suddenly the game is much less interesting. i think they'll play it safe and put us against the pats.

I want the phins. It's be a nice re-match of the MNF game from last season, except without Jenkins getting hurt (hopefully)
