It appears that the LaDainian Tomlinson has chosen the Jets over the Vikings. Chris Mortenson from ESPN tweeted 30 minutes ago that confirmed rumors that the RB had made his decision. The New York Jets are yet to make an official announcement. According to Sign-On San Diego: According to three people with knowledge of the process, Tomlinson has decided to become a New York Jet. “It’s 100 percent,” one source said. “Done deal.” Sources said Tomlinson is expected to announce the decision today or tomorrow.
Exactly. And yeah, if Shonn Greene goes down he won't be able to carry the load, but frankly, who could we get at this point that could carry the load if Greene went down for any length of time? I guess if we burnt a 1st or 2nd, but that's not going to happen. What happens to Leon if LT comes to town? I've seen some (seemingly) baseless speculation that there may be a deal in place already. I just can't see LT signing in Minnesota unless he got some sort of personal assurance from Sir Retiresalot that he was coming back. It would suck to be the #2 RB on a team led by Rosenfels.
Olivea was one of the best right tackles in the league before he lost control of his life. When a 7th round pick gets 30 million dollars on his second contract, he's doing a lot of things the right way.
It's out there, you just have to do a little bit of digging to find it. Here you go, about as close to Tomlinson coming to your house with Jets gear on, holding an I SIGNED WITH THE JETS sign and handing you a shiny new buffalo nickel as you're gonna get.
With all the hoopla, and ladanian waiting till tomorrow to announce his decision, you would think we were signing Adrian Peterson. If the jets is your choice, freaking just say it.
Hardwick was a regular starter at least his first three years. I'm not going to quibble with your other criticisms, though. All in all, that 2004 draft by the Chargers was pretty darn good and then you add in the fact that they brought in some UDFAs who turned into good players and their 2004 haul looks even better. My larger point was that the Chargers had a very good personnel department at that time.
Sorry... you've got less then 100 posts. It's hard to recognize sarcasm from somebody you don't really know as a poster.
