Guy is a ballhawk..something Rhodes used to be. While he isn't a hitter obviously and is decent at best in run support that guy is always at the right place right time causing turnovers for the opposing. Oh and don't say false stuff like "OMGGG maybe your Giants should sign him"
He would be good for maybe a year or two but honestly he is getting a bit old and wouldnt be a long-term solution
He won't be available and he is too old. He's a band aid. There are other decent FAs available if we have to replace Rhodes...and also, we have decent depth at that position.
Sharper plans to make some free agent visits in a week or two, when his surgically repaired knee has healed. He speculated that he might be a good fit with the Jets. "The New York teams, there's something about the big lights and the big city that fits me, and I know I would fit there," Sharper said. via PFT
He'd certainly be a nice stop gap option at safety. We'd still have to draft a guy in the mid-rounds to take over in 2011.
