Anderson might make a decent backup for someone but I don't want him here. If Clemens underwent a lobotomy, he'd still be a better decision-maker than DA.

    what a stupid comparison.

Larry Brown isn't a QB...he played one good game and was rewarded for his efforts.

how does that relate to this situation?

I said Anderson has done more....and has proven he can be a starter. Clemens hasn't....and continues to fail. Therefore, Anderson is the better QB.

Do i like Anderson as a player?...fuck no. Would i rather have him taking the snaps over Clemens....hell yes.

Supposedly, Derek Anderson will probably sign with the Cardinals and compete with Matt Leinart for the starting job.

^^^ Damn, that's pretty good. He may have sucked, but I don't blame him for saying that.

Parting shots by Anderson about Browns fans...

"The fans are ruthless and don't deserve a winner," Anderson wrote Tuesday in an e-mail to the Willoughby News-Herald. "I will never forget getting cheered when I was injured.

"I know at times I wasn't great. I hope and pray I'm playing when my team comes to town and [we] roll them."

...If he thought Browns fans were ruthless, how would he respond to Jets fans?

Not that there's ANY chance, but I hope he never ends up in Philly.

Most Jet fans wouldn't straight up cheer at the stadium if he got hurt. At least I know I wouldn't.

Clearly you've forgotten the last couple of years of the Chad Pennington era.

Just read on rotoworld that the Browns have Quinn on the block. I guess Holmgren wants the team to go with Wallace. This should be interesting, and I fully expect the Browns to go QB early. If Claussen and Bradford are both gone before their first round pick, we may be a likely trading spot fr Cleveland to move up and grab McCoy. I love this.

I bet Denver gobbles up Derek Anderson to put some pressure on good ol' "noodle arm" Orton. Remember, they need a backup based on how horrendous Chris Simms was.
