Now that we lost a few free agents who do we pursue? Jones' contract is worth $3 million in 2010 Wallace Wright's probably around $550,000* (535,000 in 2009) Marques Murrell's probably around $500,000* (460,000 in 2009) *Both guessed because I couldn't find contract details So it looks like at this point we have around $4 million to spend
Dude, please, there's a thread stickied at the top of the page that explains the Final 8 Plan. Read it.
Wright and Murrell were RFA's that were not tendered---they do not qualify as UFA's lost (i believe). And Jones was cut...so not a UFA lost either. ---And regardless, there isn't a UFA worth targeting at this point. ---there is a lot of talent within the low/untendered RFA's and cuts list without us needing one of our lackluster UFA's to get overpaid.
They sign a post-punk band out of a Brooklyn garage to a three-record deal. They schedule them for a regional tour, call it the "Pre-Punk" tour to let the kids know they're ironical. Get them favorable reviews on Pitchfork. Super Bowl.
Is June 1 still a big cut day in this uncapped year? Maybe some decent guys will be cut post draft that we can sign for depth purposes.
Ripa wishes she had a 3rd boob....in fact...she's flatter than piece of plywood.....she should probably acquire the first 2 boobs first.
Wallace Wright- $541,240.00 Marques Murrell- $466,240.00 Damn good guesses if they were guesses, I guess.
