That would make things interesting...where does Berry fall then?

Berry isn't leaving the top 10. This team can't afford to go get him either.

Since things change pretty drastically from now until late April, this wouldn't shock me.

It may end up being the right move, they aren't going anywhere until they get a QB, and no one will give up an entire draft to move up to #1.

Get your guy while you can right?

    Schefter is rarely wrong.

Schefter was rarely wrong when he was with NFLN. His sources aren't what they used to be.

Considering Bradford is still recovering from his injury I'm not buying it. I mean I wouldn't be surprised if he went #1, just because he's a quarterback and has some hype on him, but I just don't think the Rams would be certain about anything in this type of draft. This could be the one year that the #1 team enters contract talks with a few players and doesn't already know which one they want.

That said, playing devil's advocate here...

Bradford first to the Rams, Lions take McCoy, Bucs do backflips and grab Suh, Shanny and the Skins take Clausen, Chiefs go crazy and take Rolando McClain, Seahawks take Jason Pierre Paul, Browns take Haden, Raiders get Eric Berry, Bills draft Okung/Campbell, and the Jags take Dez Bryant.

The Combine isn't going to clear up the top 5 of the draft, until Bradford throws at his pro-day.

The Rams really want to get out of #1. The Rams have passed on QBs the last 2 years at the top of the draft.....it probably won't happen in April. As much as I love Suh, it's time for the Rams to get their franchise QB.

I heard the Rams GM on the radio the other day. Sounded like he wanted to trade down and get a QB. By Draft day you"ll be hearing he wants the Left Tackle.

They won't go tackle back to back years.

That would be interesting. I don't see Bradford going #1 but what do I know.

I don't see how Berry makes it past the Chiefs, they have pretty much nothing at safety and he would easily be the best player available.

  11. I get the Rams need for a franchise QB...but they have needs EVERYWHERE. Bradford IMO is not a franchise QB...and their is clearly better "franchise player-calibur" talent available. This would be very foolish and along the lines of Lawrence Phillips for the Rams.

I was just being sarcastic. Every rumor always pops up with the first pick( they DO need a new O-line coach, though)

Ever since Bulger had that injury the Rams have had like 5 wins in 3 years. They need a franchise QB and Sam Bradford looks like he can be that. Wouldn't doubt they take him as #1.

The Rams won't take Bradford unless they truly believe he is their guy for the future, they won't just settle with him because he is a top 2 QB in the draft, and they need a QB.

I find the situation kinda funny because this would be the year where they would have drafter a replacement for Warner, you know if they knew what they were doing, but they probably wouldn't of had such a good pick to do so with

If that's really how it's going to go why not trade down with Tampa Bay and take your QB at #3? They can make a 3rd rounder in the process...

It's hard to believe anything that's said prior to the draft. Especially when the Rams have a tons of holes, and they want to move down.

Taking Bradford is believable but he must have a clean bill of health on his shoulder first.

They should take Suh, and Jets trade Kevin O'Connel(learned under Tom Brady) and Kellen Clemens(learned under Chad Pennington, and Bret Favre) We get there 1st pick in the 3rd round.
