and i dont blame them. if i were an nfl player i would sure as hell want a guaranteed contract... to expect a guy to take less than he feels he is worth with no guarantees is tough.

i dont blame them for sitting till week 6 at all.

    So true.
Jones is a 31 year old back that hasn't taken the beating those others have.
He showed signs of fatigue down the stretch but i have to say i'd take him over either of the two mentioned.

My guess is that he's probably going to the Giants who need help in the backfield. He's got a better shot at serious playing time over there.

My mind is teetering, too... but I REALLY hope we don't pursue signing LT or Westbrook. Just the thought makes me sick.

Given the looming threat of no NFL season in 2011, TJ/SG/LW will be PLENTY for us coming out of the backfield.

Next season... I see us going 10-6 and winning our division.

For those of us lucky enough to catch a game in the new stadium... please remember to flush.

Don't joke like that, one of the Patriots weaknesses is their run game. If they get Westbrook who can give them 14 could games and be able to catch with Brady throwing to him it could be bad.

He has not played 16 games in his career. He played 8 last year with 2 concussions.

They need a playmaker. Makes sense.

Good 3rd down option for Bradford, that's for sure.
