I think it's pretty funny that in the same post Martin was chalked up to old age, yet Vinny somehow has something left in the tank.

Vinny never had squat in the tank in the first place. He was a career INT machine. Yes, he had some above average years, well two. Martin has had a career full of success. While Vinny throws almost as many picks as TDs over his career, Martin practically never turns the ball over.

Maybe, and that's a big maybe, he can be a coach. As they say, those who can do, those who can't coach. That makes Vinny a prime coaching candidate. Lord knows he can't teach very good field vision, so I think I'll take a pass on that idea.

And I am really tired of seeing people speaking for all other fans. Not everyone is enamored with Vinny T. Some of us, those who actually understand the position of QB, know he is a has-been that never really was.

To add to the list of guys I would put in as our QB before Testerception, not counting the obvious Clemmens, Bolly, Ramsey, and Penny, I submit Blair Thomas! Enjoy those potato chips Vinny! Unless Herm decides he just can't run a camp without you.

We have too many QBs on the rosterto get Vinny. If push comes to shove Brad Smith can QB, that is if all of the rest of them are done. I really hope it does not come to that.

    WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?

How do you get "I'm bashing mods" from "If "bozo" is a bannable offense, you are walking a line with the mods..."???????

You might not have been here, but there was a poster last week who was banned for calling another poster a "bozo". This is part os the new conditions of the site that DO NOT ALLOW NAME CALLING.

I haven't done anything to criticize the Mods in MONTHS! I would appreciate being treated like any other poster, instead of having a bullseye on my back.

AND I was not aware that you determine that I don't like it here, and suggest that I go to another site. That is great behavior for a mod to exemplify.

    Thanks.

What's your point, that Vinny was a great QB?.............or that he still can be even a good QB?

Vinny had a great year.....1998. He had a good year for Baltimore the year before that. Every other year of his career was a disappointment. He might have continued being great after 98, but first game of 99 he ruptured his achilles and any mobility he had (which wasn't much in the first place) he lost. He had a good team around him in 2001, 2002, which was proven when Chad came off the bench and led the Jets to victories. Vinny was shot by then already. The notion that he can be even servicable at this point is a laugher. He's 43.
