Amazing the Giants are still ahead of us. Mafia influence I'm sure.

    Actually, there is no mafia.

Interesting fact...If you bet on all the last 21 teams, and one of them win the SB, you are guaranteed to make some money!... You lose a lot of if any of the top 11 teams win though..

I'd bet $100 on the Jets to win $ 2500

You would win if they just make the SB. How?

If they make the SB lets say they are underdogs and their opposition is paying $1.40

You place a $ 1000 bet on the opposition to win $ 1400

So you have laid out $1100 in bets

If the Jets win you make $ 1,400
If they lose you make $ 300

So the Vikings have no idea who their quarterback is going to be, the Giants are atrocious and do not have a defensive coordinator, but they're still more likely to win the Super Bowl than the AFC runner up Jets? Fuck me.

how does how they performed over the last 15 years indicate how well they will do next year? there just is no logical correlation.

before this season the Saints had won only two playoff games in their existence, but that certainly didn't mean they were incapable of winning the Super Bowl this season. hate to break this to you, but winning one playoff game in 15 season doesn't project anything on how they will do next season.

I don't understand, why would a team that was of the Top 4 in the entire NFL and is extremely young with almost everyone returning be only 12th highest odds?

they are obviously rating these teams by 'proven' quarterback and quarterback experience.

Pittsburgh, Minnesota and Philadelphia are too high. Houston, Miami and Denver are too low. Other than that I have no problem with those odds.
