I'm no Cutler fan, but his receivers are terrible. On that last pick, I'm pretty sure the receiver shit his pants when he saw that he might be thrown to. Then he fell down. Hester is a poor man's Santana Moss. Earl Bennett? Not to mention he was under constant pressure. Don't get me wrong, Cutler stunk, but he had no help.
I don't think Sanchez would be looking like a pouter. Lower lip trembling much, Jay? And when Sanchez has horrible games - and there will games when he will - he'll deal with it the way he should. I'm fairly confident about that based on what he's shown so far. He won't act like a two year old. I'm glad Cutler blew. I was hoping for it. And some part of that is that I wanted the Packers to stick Favre. I never wanted Cutler. If he lives up to his deal, who cares. I won't lose sleep over it.
I hope you're fooling around, because I LOVE his excitement. What is he supposed to do, look at his watch and wonder when the next one way train to Palookaville is?
Gator isn't exactly the brightest bulb out there... enjoy Sanchez's enthusiasm... he'll settle down and be just about business soon enough. Right now it's fun to watch him have some fun. And usually when you are having fun, and winning... energy isn't a problem... and it's addictive to your teammates.
It still takes a pretty talented guy to throw 27 TD's with the receivers he has in Chicago. It also takes a pretty irreponsible guy to throw 26 INTs in a season regardless of who's out there running routes
