This is a bummer. I really liked Kurt and he will go down as one of the best throwers of the football this league has ever had.
I think he his. I love Kurt Warner and what he stands for (the career he's had). If it weren't for that 100yd return TD by Harrison and the fact that the Cardinals DBs can't catch a cold (who does in Arizona though) he'd have retired last year with a well desrved SB ring. Thank you for blessing the NFL with you play and you character Kurt
I don't think there's a question. On top of all of his accomplishments (2 time MVP, 1 SB ring+MVP, 2 more SB appearances, big time playoff QB), he took the freaking CARDINALS to the superbowl. That alone should guarantee him entry  But seriously, anyone who wouldn't vote him in is insane. If people on the fence need something to push them over, you could even throw in his Arena days (since this is the PRO football HOF, not just the NFL HOF, a distinction that helped Warren Moon get in).
Kurt Warner is such a great story with his career... yeah, HOF all the way. And yeah, Cardinals suck again. Man, that was short lived.
He helped bring two sad franchises to respectability and Super Bowl appearances, and won it with one of them. He had a great career. He seemed to disappear for a few years in the middle of his career due to concussions and it's probably the only reason why there would be any debate as to his HOF worthiness. He would get my vote though.
He's had the seasons that are probably worthy, but he did have a late start to his career and had those few years that were bad/as a backup. However, I think he's too much of a good guy who the media respects and likes to not make it.
not only do his statistics warrant him going to the HOF, but the fact that he took two moribund franchises, Rams and Cards, to three Super Bowls sure as hell should lock him in.
Kurt Warner is definitely a HOFer. He put together some fuckin unreal seasons, and was money in the playoffs. The top 3 single game passing yards performances in a Super Bowl all belong to Warner, which is a crazy stat.
Matt Leinart deserves another shot as a starter. He has all the tools needed to become a franchise signal caller. Plus, having Fitzgerald, Boldin, and Breaston to throw to will make his job a lot easier.
And he might, because he is extremely competitive & he loves football...but I doubt it. His new book is a great read....he is involved in a ton of projects helping other people, because both Kurt & Brenda remember what it was like to be dirt poor. I met Kurt Warner, when I ran the Susan Koman race for the cure, with his wife Brenda. Warner is a totally non-flashy, just nice guy. The most impressive thing about both Kurt & Brenda, IMHO, is that they include their disabled/blind son, in everything. Their son stands right in the middle of the conversation, and participates with everyone else.
