Honestly alot of us can relate to Saints fans, they've been through alot of lean years with that team. Me personally have become friendly with alot of people who moved to Vegas following Katrina thanks to the gaming industry. They're all cool people and great to watch games with. I've only got two friends who are Colt fans, one is from Indy the other a bandwagon jumper...they've already gotten their SB.
Our 2 biggest losses this season came to the Colts and Saints in my opinion. First the Saints game where our defense got recognition (loss hurt our qbs confidence and chance for divison/bye) 2nd the Coilts game where Sanchez grew up (loss knocked us out of superbowl game)
Not only are you not allowed on the Bandwagon, but your not allowed on the bandwagon of being on the bandwagon.
Have to agree with Petro on this one...as he stated in the NFL thread, the Saints will never beat the Colts, if they play like they did on Sunday. However, miracles happen in the NFL. I would love to see the Saints hoist the Lombardi, for the 1st time, FINALLY. One of my co-workers is heading down to NO, next week, for a convention her husband has to go to...we had a blast telling her all the fun places to see...the city is going to be ON FIRE!!!!
I'm too worried about the Pro Bowl to really wrap my head around the Super Bowl winner just yet. Give me time...
The Saints are alright. They've come a long way since the Turley helmet-tossing incident. I can't really stand Shockey, but I'd like to see Brees and Vilma get their due. And yeah, fuck the Colts.
If I was betting I'd take the Colts, I would like the 'Aints to get a Superbowl though. They deserve it. Funny how with all the suprises in the NFL, that the two best teams meet in the Super Bowl. This really is one fantastic league.
I just saw a kid (who is a giants fan wearing a giants jersey all the time) wearing a saints jersey... whats up with that?
