I thought you would be a Colts fan by now. I guess I was wrong. You only support the NY team that does well.

    Dude, go fuck yourself.

Why do u care about how Sanchez played?

Your QB is the other Manning, the one who was playing golf this morning.

I guess SOJ should be changed to DNJ.

Thanks. The team should be good and competitive for years.

Thanks. I think there's no way they move the team to Toronto or LA. Toronto (as you guys witnessed first hand) has a lame fanbase. As far as LA, if any team is going to LA, I see the Chargers as the leading candidate.

As far as what happens when Ralph passes, I hope a local Billionaire step up, ala Golisano. Who knows? I know Kelly has been working his tail off to keep them there. Hopefully he can get it done.

    Doing More With Less

IMO most of us have identified the key points of our AFC CHampionship loss. I'm by no means over this loss, and am lamenting the Super Bowl tickets that i did not get a chance to receive this year. However....i must admit that i am proud. VERY proud of what we accomplished in this game. We did not back down. We did not quit. We saw 30 minutes of our future potential.....but with less talent. I'm sure that the Colts will be our hurdle for the next few years, and i'm hopeful that we build our team to apply the kind of pressure that only talent can bring. Manning had an extra 1-2 seconds longer than what i'm sure our inevitable future rematch will bring. The development of our back ups and 3rd stringers should provide the depth that we will need after we celebrate the return of Kris Jenkins and Leon Washington.

We knew that we were not healthy going into this game, or by the start of the 2nd half. For that reason, i hope that we ARE healthy going into next season's playoffs [we ARE going back darksiders]. And i hope that we can add OSI or PEPPERS [or ADALIUS?!?!] to the roster [or both? dare to dream]. Maybe we also need another receiver [FA or trade]and try to move Cotchery to the slot, and an outside linebacker from the draft. I'm excited about our off season because i think we will re-build our defense to beat the Colts [and apply pressure on Tom Brady]. I'm also hopeful that we can get another weapon for this offense and welcome back Leon and Kris next season when we return to the Superbowl.

I agree, and as far as the second paragraph, it needs a little more thought considering our situation.

Thanks guys, hopefully this is a start and not an ending. The later you lose the tougher it gets but we have alot to be proud of and hopefully a bright future ahead of us.

Take it from a Colts fan... losing EARLY in the playoff sucks REAL bad too. Colts have lost a lot in the early rounds.

It was a tough loss but this team brought us along on a great ride. I hope this is a beginning and not an ending.

One thing that strikes me as different about the conclusion of this season is that we did not go out in typical Jets fashion. My recollection is that we have previously been knocked out of the playoffs (or eliminated late in the season) with either horrible performances (multiple turnovers, penalties) or snatching defeat from the jaws of victory (Hello? You play to kick a long FG). This year, the Jets went out fighting. They knocked off two division winners and took it to the best team (or at least QB) in the league in their building. Ultimately, they were outmatched, but they sent a shot across the bow to the league, that we are a force to be reconed with. In future years if we play that game at home instead of on the road, we will be raising the Lamar Hunt trophy. I won't call SOJs dead yet, but it didn't raise its ugly head this post-season. Rex and Sanchez have put that cancer into remission and I've got a funny feeling they may be one to give us a cure. Even if we never make it to the promised land (sometimes you need to be lucky), this is a team that will take down a bunch of other hopefulls with them. No more dying with a wimper. No more cowering before elite teams. For the next 10 years we are going to fighting to the last breath. When you do that, eventually things will go your way. This is a team I a psyched to be rooting for....and when is the last time any of us were saying that?

Although I felt that Rex changed the culture of this team through out the season, it didn't feel ligitimized until I picked up the newspaper this morning and the headlines didn't say "Same Old Jets".

    Thank You Rex

    we had a great year.

the coleman miss interception when it 17-6 and colley had the 45 yard reception
    the missed 52 yarder
12 men on the field when we stopped them on 3rd
    greene getting hurt

but hey that indy team is really good and peyton is the greatest qb ever.we had to play damn near flawless to beat them and we couldnt.and they had a big part in making that happen. not us doing it.and that is the SOJ. we where beat not us beating us.

Cut down on the mistakes, bolster the depth, and make a run.

Need more depth at RB. I love Greene and Leon but Greene has had durability issues and Leon is coming off a major injury. Not saying we need to spend a day 1 pick on a RB or sign a high profile Free Agent. I just think that we need another decent back that can take about 15 carries a game off Greene's plate.

I see Leon as more of a situational type back. We really missed his receiving production. Would have provided a nice check-down option for Sanchez.
