Pierre Garcon is a very good wide receiver

In an effort to combat the "I've seen Dwight Lowery play one game against Peyton Manning so I know he sucks" threads, I'd like to give some props to the Haitian Sensation.

What a player. I think this kid looked a little like a Reggie Wayne-Marvin Harrison hybrid. Excellent hands, as well- he made some terrific catches while covered.

I'll emphasize that part- WHILE COVERED. Yes, Dwight Lowery didn't get it done today. In fact, he was torched. But maybe, just maybe, it was because he was playing against a very good wide receiver.

Let's not go down the same road that we've criticized our opponents for treading by placing all the blame on ourselves instead of giving credit to our opponents. Our second year corner does not "suck donkey cock," he was just put in a position above his pay grade today. He played some decent coverage for most of the game, but he just couldn't rise to the occasion against an excellent young wideout and Peyton fucking Manning, whom I now believe to be the best quarterback of all time. (Urrrrgh...)

So a big congratulations to Pierre Garcon, and a big "get bent" to the foul-weather Jets fans who pollute this board after every loss. Lay off DL.

not taking anything away from garcon but any able bodied human being with 2 legs can be a good WR for peyton manning

one other thing, Garcon never got his 2nd foot down on that TD

colts probably still would have scored though

+1 Garcon is a good WR, but Manning makes everyone around him look good

I'd just like to say that J-Co has not been getting enough appreciation, he did an amazing job these past 3 games and this season overall. I cant remember the last time I said "Thats a bad drop by J-Co." The guy is flat out awesome.

(I wanted to make a topic about this but i dont have enough posts)

He got both feet down. Sorry but it was pretty clear on the replay. If he hadn't, we would have challenged.

Very true although I'd like to see Justin Mccareins play for the Colts. It would be one of those "unstoppable force meets immovable object" situations.

I don't think so. That 2nd foot hit out of bounds. I thought it was clear.

A good pass-rushing DE or OLB would have made Lowery look a lot better today.

We need a Pierre Garcon, we have no depth at the WR position

Yeah, just Like Brady won SBs with all those no names WRs, most of them don't even exist now.

Watch the Garcon TD VERY closely... when he got the first foot down clearly... the other foot tapped a little too. You can see the dust in the tuft splash up a little. I didn't think he did at first either because he CLEARLY didn't have it in when he came down on it... but if you look REAL close... you can see he got it down earlier than you were probably looking for it.

If Manning can make McCariens a good WR, then he is truly the best ever.

    agreed!

I do think Garcon is a good receiver with great hands! Our defensive skeems worked well on both clark and Wayne but payton took what we gave him and killed us with Garcon and Collie.

I don't agree, I do not think he got that foot down, Rex should have challenged it! I have no idea why he didn't. you would probably scored anyway but that was not a TD

Garco is a BIG TIME WR, he just hasn't had enough time to show it yet. People act like he and Collie are some scrubs off the street. A blind man can see the talent they have. Does Peyton make them look better? sure but he's working w/ talent.

It was clear..the right foot was down before he had the ball...the left tapped twice.
