I wouldn't be so annoyed if he was just some idiot analyst, but the fact that he played (and lost) against us this year just makes him sound like a crybaby sore loser.

And the Pats cut him a week later.

So I was listening to this song called 40/40 by Joe Budden and Royce da 5'9, and I was really digging the track because it went hard. Punchline after punchline.

All of a sudden I hear Budden use none other than our savior Revis Christ himself in the song, and it was at that moment that I decided, alright fuck, this song just became my fucking shit. We all know Revis is amazing but I never thought a famous rapper would actually throw him a shoutout in a song, let alone a pretty talented yet underrated one like Joe Budden. I'm glad to see Revis getting the recognition his skills deserve in that he's almost become a household name now. That's amazing for a CB.

Anyhow, watch for it at around the 2:58 mark--Buddens goes "I got this whole shot covered/Darrelle Revis".

Even the local hippie rag recognizes His divinity:

Lord Revis, hallowed be thy name. Thy Championship come, thy will be done in Indy as it were in San Diego...

The Lito is my Sheppard; I shall not want.
He maketh me to 4th down in green jerseys.
He leadeth me beside the still receivers.
    He restoreth my franchises glory.
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name' sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of Lucas Oil Stadium,
    I will fear no evil: For thou art with me;
Thy Rhodes and thy Scott, they comfort me.
Thou preparest a blitz before me in the presence of mine enemies.
Thou annointest my head with face paint; my cup runneth over with alcohol.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of the playoffs.
and I will dwell in the house of the lord forever

    Amen

Fuck it....I'll be the first to say it I guess. Our savior saved his least impressive game of the season for last. This loss was not his fault by a long shot, but the truth is I expected more from him - and that is the price you pay for getting so much praise. He's still the best CB in the game, and arguably the best defensive player in football.
