NFL players lobby Congress in battles with league

    I for one don't want congress to get involved. I can see their beef about the owners not opening up their financial records though.

    One was or another, I really want them to negotiate a new CBA before March (because of the rule that teams that make it to the Championship Game cannot sign any free agents unless they lose one of equal or greater value).

    no... then Braylon AND leon are free to go where ever they wish and we have to try and resign them before anyone else does

    plus we just need to keep our own guys around.

    Doesn't Congress have enough to do? Like the 10% unemployment for example?

    Well, preventing a work-stoppage would keep that figure down...
