Yeah we are close to 25 years now- They were my fathers now they are mine- I'd be happy as hell to buy these tix for him.
I won both of those times as well, though I am not feeling confident this time. It made the mud bowl and Denver 2nd half collapses even more painful. It's my last opportunity now that I've opted out of PSL's. I suppose you are in the same situation Champ.
6 tickets for 33 years... well, it'd be nice if it happens... especially since this is our last year as season ticket holders since we got screwed by the PSL crap.
Would we get the better seats at Dolphin Stadium or uppers? FYI super bowl tickets are face value of about $500-$1000 these days.
Uppers are $800 and lowers are a grand for the 2010 Super Bowl. I made plane reservations on Monday just in case. $269 into West Palm on Thur, night out of Newark and leave Monday night. Just covering my bases. I won the lottery the year of the Mud bowl and none since. THis is my year.
Its costs $150 if you cancel the flight, the rest needs to be used within 1 year. I decided to go for it. I bet the Jets Money line (+280) so my bookie is paying for my flight. I have a friend with a condo in Miami so I figured the flights are gonna go fast if we win. Now its winning and then the ticket.
I am a Colts season ticket holder and have been since 92. When the Colts went to the Super Bowl they did a lottery and the Colts Season Ticket Holders were alotted 3,000 Tickets! Every ticket was 500 dollars a piece and you didn't get your ticket until you picked it up at will call the day of the game. I didn't win the lottery, but that is how they did a few years back!
Bad information Colts man. Thanks anyway. My $' are correct and its been 10k to the team for years. Good luck '
That's not right, here's the standard ticket distribution formula: http://www.nfl.com/superbowl/faninformation Dolphin Stadium fits about 76,500 for football, so in 2007 when the Colts won there your fans would have had access to over 13,000 seats. Ditto for Jets fans this year _____
Face value on the tix are more like $500. A friend of mine worked in the NFL up till last year. Each NFL employee can buy 2 tickets at face value. Of course they are not allowed to make a profit on the tix, but I can tell you they make plenty. Good thing all the connections are still there, and can get tix no problem. Bad news is my wifes due date is the week leading to the Superbowl. Needless to say, my son will be grounded till he's 20.
ok im nuts airfare for 2 is a go.just bought it reserved a car too. fuck fuck fuck why cant it be sunday already i need 2 game tix when we win
I got tix through the NFL lottery 2 years ago (University of Phoenix Stadium) and they were $750 face.
i read in the beginning of the year they where lowering the super bowl tix b/c of the economy.goodell wanted the average fan to be able to afford a tix. arc championship upper sideline was $150
It maybe 13,000 tickets to the team, but I am telling you that the season ticket holders only got 3,000 from the Colts. I am sure out of that 13,000 is everyone in the organization, family and friends of players. I could easily see that being 10,000 tickets.
Anyone have a legit publication they can link to regarding SB ticket face values? I just read on one site that they're $800 for uppers and $1200 in the lower bowl
Well that wouldn't surprise me since the entire Colt Organization are a bunch of pathetic assholes, but even the Colts aren't that stupid
