that the Jets were up 13-2 against the Chargers in the 2nd quarter with 8:34 seconds to go before the half.

And to give this thread some substance before I get flamed into last tuesday, I think Ryan and Pettine bring a different look to our defense than we've seen the past 17 weeks. The blitz will still be there but skewed a bit with a lot more pressure coming from the DB's. I see Revis, Rhodes, Leonard, and Smith sneaking in off the corners with guys like Harris, Scott, and Strickland clogging up the middle looking for the quick outs to Gates and Sproles. To me it's silly for Revis to shut down VJ all day due to the number of SD's weapons. It's a great strategy for a team like the Bengals where Chad Johnson is a clear #1 WR but for the Chargers you're looking at an A,B,C,D, and E option with similar talents and only removing 20% of the QB's options... if you get my analogy here. I'm thinking we'll play some hybrid schemes with 2 or 3 'safeties' essentially playing a zone instead of the usual man with casino blitz that Ryan has showed much of the league.

And sorry, I know this has been discussed at nauseum but these next 23 hrs before the game tomorrow will feel like an eternity. Feel free to post wacky predictions here for halftime, 1st quarter, 3rd quarter, what time Sanchez eats a hot dog, etc.

TL;DR: I think the Jets bring a different look to our defense to counteract SD's mass passing attack.

I had a dream in which Francesa picked us to win, 42-7. Then I realized it was a dream.

Revis actually had a blitz last week. Maybe more than one, but I only caught the one. He ended up getting flattened on the ground by a lineman, and Palmer completed a pass on the play.

    Just sayin'.

Last Jets dream I remember was the night before the Jets/Bills on Thursday night. I dreamt the Jets win. Wish I could remember all my dreams.

Funny, I saw him at the Cardinal/GB game. Isn't he the one that caused the fumble that was returned for the winning TD?

j/k men. Having a little fun.

The night before the 1st game of the season(Texans game) I had a dream that I woke up at 3 PM and the game had already started. The Jets were up 23-7 but I still didn't care because I was so mad I missed most of the game. Final score was 24-7 in real life, lol

I had a dream that at the begining of the season that the Jets would be celebrating a Super Bowl Championship with a Rookie Quarterback.

My dreams still alive, or maybe I am in a dream?

I actually had this crazy dream that there was still one more game in the regualr season, and even though the jets just won their old card game, they had to beat the bengals one more time...but the jets lost and couldn't play the chargers.

It's ok. You can take up the slack and say that we should then one day celebrate one post in the thread and ignore all of the later posts because the first one sounds pretty and nice.

I had a dream that Francesa picked his ass and then drew some brown bulls-eyes on his boxers.

Don't get me wrong, MLK was a genius who was far ahead of his time.
