....in New York. It wasn't enough when the Jets were playing in Brady's yard.

you mean the 4 INTs Sanchez threw including a pick 6?

    Tough to win that way.

its tough for opposing fans to know what went on, but it does help to do some research before a post is submitted, eh?

    AJ > VJ

    VJ + P. Rivers > AJ + M. Schuab

But it doesn't matter, take out VJ and you still have Gates, Floyd, LT, D. Sproles to throw to... more probably, that team is stacked on offense.

I cannot reiterate enough that the Jets have the number one pass defense. Usually when a team blitzes, it leaves the WRs in man coverage which for most teams is a weakness. The Jets play man coverage for the majority of the game.

You also have to take into account that Rivers will not be able to read our defense since it will be hard to see over your 7 foot receivers to see what formation we are in.

call me uneducated but what does the height of the WR have to do with anything? It's more of the oline relative to the QB.

Not just 7 feet. 8 feet AND can jump to the upper deck when the moon is full.

Well, I guess we can have this debate till the cows come home - I am just as curious as you to see which side prevails when the Bolts are passing. Maybe it'll be a tie.

...It's a running joke owing to Charger fans constantly talking about the height advantage 6'5" V.Jackson, 6'5" M.Floyd, 6'5" B.Davis, and 6'4" A.Gates have over their respective defenders.

Maybe it's an AFC West thing. The resident Raiders troll is obsessed with heights, weights and 40 times.

That's the point, the craziness that revis cannot cover VJ yet shutdown the best in the game is laughable.

Anyone wanna bet that the first Chargers pass is deep to Jackson?

Remember Pennington to Moss last time we went to SD for a playoff game? People were all "Chad can't throw deep. They won't go deep," and Chad Pennington hits a wide open Santana Moss to open the scoring.

I say we try that with Edwards too, but only if we get ball first. Throw it to Edwards, that'll tell us what kind of game we'll have.

You Chargers fans do realize that if you claim that Revis can't cover VJ then you are also claiming that no corner in the NFL can cover VJ, right?

Sure VJ may catch a few balls and MAYBE grab a single deep one, but it's simply laughable to think that VJ will have his way with Revis.

I don't think that anyone, anywhere has said that. Most Bolt fans think VJ will be slowed, a belief grounded in reality. Arguing the finer point of how much is all we can do until the teams take to the field. However if you want laughable, there was one Jet fan here on this board that claimed any pass aimed towards Jackson would result in a first down for the Jets. Yep. With a straight face, he predicted a 100% target to interception ratio.
