you'll all be singing a different toon after sanchize dominates the bolts, ravens, and romo.

we have something special in sanchez. and having greene and leon behind him for the next 5 years are like the two booster rockes on either side of the space shuttle.

    rex ain't supid.

I always liked Martz but Rex said he wanted a running team...I dont think there is any way in hell Martz would be able to run 60% of the time.

Clearly, Schotty already is gone and the Jets leaked this idea as a way to gauge their fans' satisfaction or dissatisfaction with a "boring" run-first offense. As the responses in this thread make clear, we are all savvy football fans who understand that 4 yards and a cloud of dust is winning football and we don'd need to throw the ball all over the field in order to be pleased with our team.

In point of fact, this leaking of info probably proves that Callahan is the team's choice as Schotty successor which, in my book, is the ONLY choice.

Yo mofos, I'm telling you, this is how it be.

I dont want anything to set this team back or Sanchez's development. Keeping Callahan here keeps most of the offensive structure in place and continuity moving forward. This team has come a long way this year and we need to move forward.... no more set backs. I remember when Rex was hired, Callahan was one of the first coaches to say he wanted to stay here....that says alot.

I hope this is a joke....Martz is a bad fit for the way this team is setup.

Let me get this straight, we get mad because BS throws the ball 32 times a game but we are interested in a guy who throws 45 times a game? :eek:hmy:

Can we imagine what this board would read like if we are throwing 40 times a game in December?

Are you in favor of MM being our OC?

We are not in the playoffs because MS is throwing 40 times a game.

I heard Nick Mangold on the radio yesterday on my way home from work. He was praising Callahan and what a brain he is. He mentioned how Callahan is so above everyone else with his offensive ideas, but can relate it in a way that anyone can understand. I think he has done an excellent job with the line and the whole offensive scheme. If Mangold says Callahan is this good we might have to keep him around and make him our Offensive Coordinator.

Even though sometimes I hate Schotty, I really wouldnt want him to leave just yet... I want the Kid to keep things the same for a little until he gets comfortable.. Schotty > Martz

I agree. Brian S. is doine a bang-up job, in my opinion, with a banged-up offense. It's really scary to think what he can accomplish if he had personnel like SD in a few years.

Along with DC Pettine, they are kind of the "Yang" to the yippie-I-A bluster of Rex's "Yin."

"banged-up offense"? How? A rookie QB, a WR that was acquired mid season, or injuries? His offense is not banged up, just new. And Im not sure what u mean by banged up. Maybe injuries? Thats only Leon who's injured but I dont really expect a non-Jet fan to know who's injured on the Jets and who's not.
