trade option

    The jets should offer buffalo chad pennington and dewayne robertson for Nate Clements. I think this trade is fair any thoughts??

    wow, can you even imagine the salary cap hit from trading Robertson and Pennington and then adding 7 million for Nate? Penningtons cap hit would be $12 million and i'm not sure how bad Robertsons would be. Maybe we can do this in Madden?

    This is not basketball, player for player trades rarely ever happen let alone multi player trades. Why would either team make this trade it makes absolutely no sense?

    Our prestige would be way down the following year! What if we changed DROB to a TE, then Pennington to an OG, then released both, then resigned them on 7 year minimum pay deals?

    lol, all of us have a little homer in us but, pleassssseee. get a grip! penny has little value with past injury history (7th rd) if we were extremely lucky. and robertson's knee's are no different, along with his yet to be achieved draft value performance. over-achiever and an under-achiever do not meet the value of a nate clements. might want to read and study football a little more before posting and making a fool of one's self. sorry for the harsh, but think before you post. it truely helps!!!!!!!!!!

    Player wise this a great trade for us and we're stealing a top 10 CB from the Bills.

    Money wise this is the worst trade ever. I don't think this could even be pulled off in Madden.

    lol yeah this isnt a video game. you never see big trades in football, and if you do, its rare. as far as trading chad and robertson, why? right now the jets have 3 viable options at QB. if they were to trade chad(virtually impossible) but if they lost him, theyd be deciding between patrick ramsey or a rookie coming off a season ending injury. now thats a garbage quarterback situation.

    In madden it would work but you woud also have to throw in a 2nd rounder, because they wouldnt want to part with clements.
