Please allow me this momentary rant to people who may understand my pain. The Jets are not only in the play-offs, but we are driving toward the Super Bowl. We have a real legit shot at advancing to the AFC Championship game. I am super excited to be the ONLY football team playing. And yet I'm in my car and all I hear about on the radio is Mark McGwire took steroids. This is news? WTF? What next, Wesley Snipes admits he's Black? I don't want to hear this shit, I want to hear about the soon to be Super Bowl Champion Fucking JETS! There, I feel a little better.
Its the hot topic for the day. Once ESPN gets over the McGuire admits it crap - they will start focusing on Jets football again. And don't bother going to the other end of the dial. Mike Fat-fukin-cessa will just keep telling everybody how the Jets have no chance....
They have to have something banal to beat to death every once in a while. I don't think they got nearly as much mileage out of Tiger Woods as they wanted to.

I don't follow baseball, so excuse me if I thought it's been known for several years already that McGwire was a cheater (as probably several scores of other MLB players are). So what is the news? Forget about it. Who cares anyway?
Big Mac admitting he took steroids isn't a surprise to anyone! Hell a CNN poll showed 98% of people weren't surprised. My question is what the hell were the other 2% thinking? Must have been Cardinal fans.
I can't even believe the steroid issue is still an issue. If it's as big a deal as they're making it out to be, why is no one coming after the NFL? The steroids issue is horseshit...complete horseshit. Ruining a perfectly fine sport while the friggin NFL gets to survive intact.
Seriously knock it off with the complaining about NY radio. Besides, it's Tuesday! The game is five days away! I live in Chicago and I dare you to listen to radio out here.
Get a Sirius satellite radio. It isn't very expensive and gives you better sports, entertainment, news and music than regular radio.
Honestly, I just don't understand the complaint. I thought it was going to be a rant about how Fatcessa disses the Jets, and while I see no reason for anyone to feed into that troll, I can understand why a Jets fan would (hint: those that do are the reason he does it.) Complaining that the sports world's biggest story of the day is all over the sports networks is a bit silly though. Whether you like baseball or hate it like a Nazi, it's pretty big news that this guy finally admitted his guilt (especially just days after the baseball hall of fame vote.) How much could they possibly say about the Jets today that they didn't already say Sunday and yesterday, and will repeat at least a couple more times between now and Sunday?
Yes, but the problem there, is that they aren't covering any specific team (e.g. Jets). Instead, they try to cover all the teams, or now that it's playoff time, all the teams still alive. At least with terrestrial radio, you get mostly Jets related football coverage. Oh yea, and the Giants, too.
Being a football fan, and someone who admittedly could give a crap less about baseball, it always galls me that there is not a peep of football talk during baseball season, but during the NFL playoffs they have a 20 minute discussion on some prospect that has been traded from the Tigers to the Pirates. ugh.
If you don't like the way they cover the Jets try being a Devils fan. Best team in the region the last 15 years & you never hear anything about them. I guess you have to listen to NJ sports radio...
