Hahahaha...I told Mack on IM that if the Bengals were like us, they'd cut him for being a decent regular season kicker and playoff goat. Mack immediately responded "and then draft a kicker in the 2nd round".
I still think you guys win even if he makes them...just saying..was nice the OTHER kicker missed em...
Wasn't nearly as bad as Doug Brien's missed FG in sudden-death overtime, but it would have been a different game.
Cincy kicker Shayne Graham msnbc.com "The game ended with a little more Jets serendipity. Shayne Graham, the Bengals? franchise-tagged player, missed two field goals in the second half, including a 28-yarder with 3:49 to go that essentially sealed it."
how bad is it that cincy actually franchised their kicker who turned around and missed to chip shots that probably lost the game for them. talk about being pissed! never franchise a kicker! that's something only the raiders would do.
And it's not like he missed long Field Goals....these were chip shots......he looks great with goat horns on.....I hope he has Brien's cell number.
dude...these were chipshots...a 35 yarder and a 28 yarder......he shanked them both. Trust me....this goat deserves thanks.
Eggzactly. I don't want to hear anything else about it. He didn't help us win, and that's all there is to it.
yes, 6 points wouldn't have made a difference, but look at confidence and such. He took the wind out of their sails when they didn't have anything to give up.
For what? Would they have won even if he did make em both? Jets gave up a FG attempt by two straight penalties as well along with a wide open drop in the EZ. Should thank the Jets D, O and Jay Feely, who had to earn his paycheck today. I just don't like to thank opposing teams when we win (or even if we lose).
