There's no such thing as backing in, you either win the games you need to win or you don't.

Yes. And considering how Cincy mirrors our game (Physical up front rushing attack, Defense,Complimentary passing game)...coupled with the fact that we're better in 2 of those 3 phases (the only place Cincy is better than us right now is at QB)..we can take SD.

Exactly. The Jets ended the season winning five of six and scoring 56 unanswered points, if that's backing in then throw it in reverse and let's go. As for the Bengals, I could give a shit, just beat them again.

Jets and Bengals did a great job in getting to the playoffs. Its hard beating Baltimore, and Steelers twice, and they did that. Noone would ever expect that in the beginning of the season. People arent giving the jets enough credit. They kept Peyton to only 15 points thats very impressive. I really felt like the 2nd Pats game we got our ass kicked. But it was a close at one point in the game. JETS did a horrible job in stopping Wes Welker in the first Half, but the JETS made an adjustment that stopped him in the 2nd half. The reason why we couldnt make a run in that game was because of Mark Sanchez. I think we could have a team that can be dangerous in the playoffs with the running attack, and defense. But the only thing that can change my opinion if mark sanchez doesnt play well

Agreed, my definition of backing into the playoffs is when a team tries to win because they if they win, they are in. However, they end up losing, but another team losing gets that team in anyway.

    Formula is not rocket science:

run the ball, high 3rd down conversion percentage, and don't turn it over.

Whether we are successful or not, no one knows; but I like our chances.

Funny how we don't see the Bengals' fans on this forum. Turkjet is overthere getting ganged up on but I have no desire to interact with them at all. All the talk from the Bengals fans saying they gifted us into the PO will make trouncing them more sweet.
I really do have respect for what the Bengals have done this season.

we didnt back into the playoffs at all... we are on a hot streak and thats what counts in the playoffs... We are hitting in full stride right now and the Bengals are dying down....

I dont care what anybody says about Sanchez's stats this year... thats in the past and this is NOW! The kid is really playing his best ball of the season right now...
