It wasn't intended to be a half assed congrats. I truly believe you guys can cause teams a lot of problems in the playoffs. Everyone is in love with throwing the ball all over the place but defense and a great running game seems to win playoff games and I'm not sure there is a better team in the playoffs at those two aspects then the Jets. If Sanchez can just protect the ball (and I think he is figuring that out and it won't be an issue) you guys have a good shot at making the AFC Championship game then hey anything could happen. I also like the way they are using Smith, he is a beast and getting the ball into his hands the way they do could cause opposing D's fits. I think we will see a couple of throws from him in coming weeks as well. As far as Rex I know a lot of Dolphin fans were giving him a hard time this year but in the end he kept the team focused and won the games you had to win in the end (I don't buy into the you guys backed in argument, the Jets have no control over who the other teams play all you can do is win and you did) so I think Rex has proven to be a good coach and his players love to fight for him which is always a huge plus.
saying "go fuck yourself" is a privilege allowed for jets fans on this forum... i said something 1/2 as bad and got banned. i'll try again though: go fuck yourself back! zor
We've been running the option before you even knew what it was. Thanx for the support but you still need some edjumication on somez stuffs
I'm not saying we invented the formation or anything we were just the first team to use it on a regular basis and you guys seem to using the Smith formation more and more. It's a fact that Jet players were trashing us for using the wildcat earlier this season. Like I said I'm not knocking the fact that your running it....it's obviously working for you and it was smart to use it more. As far as what you guys did a few years ago has nothing to do with now. It's different coaches and players so I don't quite get your argument.
To all the people telling me to F-myself It doesn't bother me in the least, in fact I thinks it's pretty funny. Your supposed to hate me and my team just like I hate your team but I'm still gonna give props where they are deserved and the Jets deserve props.
+1 I also found myself rooting for the Dolphins yesterday. It felt weird... And I'm not being sarcastic here, but I think Tyler Thigpen is a solid QB who would definitely compete to start somewhere
I was rooting for them too since their playoff chances were very slim as a win by them meant they would get a worse pick in this year's draft
