Rest OUR Starters?

?

Should Rex rest Sanchez and other key players in the second half?

  1. Yes, sit them now

    16.4%
  2. Wait a little bit longer, then rest them

    50.9%
  3. No, let them play the full game

    32.7%

Well, it's halftime, and the Jets are up 27-0. So after all the talk of the Bengals potentially resting their starters, what do you guys think of resting Sanchez and some other key guys to prevent against injury, and to prevent against showing them even more of our playbook? Of course, with the momentum they've got going, you don't want to slow that down heading into next week. What would you do if you were Rex?

I think it's still too early. Try to come out in the 3rd quarter and completely put them away (scoring 10-14 more points) and then you can consider resting people.

Too early yet. If we get up by thirty mid third maybe. If we are up twenty in the mid fourth then sure but right now it's too early to risk it

i think we'll see mostly runs in the second half, the starters will stay in

doubt any defensive guys will come out but who knows

i'd love to see some o-line guys come out but they aren't exactly deep on either line

I think Sanchez will stay in the game, but hand off to Danny Woodhead a LOT

Ellis probably won't play the 2nd half, he was injured throughout the week, and sick

No way. Not until this game is way out of hand, like 41-0.

this is a must win game....you don't rest the starters until the clock runs out in the 4th quarter.

    I agree, still too early.

I want to see Chad "Johnson" play next week. Let Revis play as long as he's on the field.

I don't see how you could argue if Ryan takes the majority of his starters out for the 2nd half.

The Bengals are clearly interested in nothing more than getting on the team plane back to Cincy right now...the game is over - pull the starters.

Crush their will. Keep pouring it on and gain momentum for next week.
Keep them in, maybe pull Ellis to let him rest his knee
    but everyone else stays.

Or piss them off by running up the score in a game that's all but over.
