The way he decided to bolt was a godsend for us. If im not mistaken he counted as 7 mil on our cap and we negotiated for him to be released and not pay him the 7 mil guaranteed. It was addition by subtraction. Getting rid of the overpayed, 1 injury away from retirement receiver and we save a ton of money.

Well I guess it's safe to say that Coles was the "anonymous" player last year that always bitched to the media since that has not happened at all this year. (I guess it could have been Chris Baker as well since he was unhappy with his contract).

Anyway, I was a big fan of the way Coles played for us throughout the years. He was tough as nails and came up with some very big catches over the middle. The only way Coles will get booed from me is if he makes a big play or a TD

The question is why wouldn't we boo him? I loved Coles as a Jet but he is a Bengal right now and they are standing in our way of the playoffs. Every Bengal should be booed and that includes Laveranues.

Getting Coles' salary off the cap for this season was one of Tannenbaum's smartest and nort inventive moves since becoming GM. Guaranteeing the money in the first place was an error.

Coles was a very clutch player for us. I would hope that he is cheered when introduced.

Despite his occasional whining (and headcase status) He was a good, dedicated player for the JETS. Tough guy who always played hurt. Just a shame the turf toes took away the speed he once had. Glad he's gone now though.

If they announce his name in the beginning a mild cheer is due....... if he starts to make plays, let the boos commence :)

I could care less about Coles. He doesn't deserve to be booed or cheered. He's a nobody.

I loved LC! He was a machine, always playing banged up. I loved his heart, regardless that everyone thought he complained all the time. I have nothing but love for LC.

I loved Coles until he left for Washington over 500K. He was on his way to becoming an all-time great Jet. When he came back he was good but nevere really the guy he was before he left for Washington.I won't be there so I can't boo him but if I was there I would cheer him in the begining but once the game started the gloves would come off. If he starts acting like an ass he desreves to be booed but my guess is Coles will be pretty irrelevant tonight. It's next week that scares me.

I always liked LC. He always played hard and was a team player. And with the year he's had, I don't think we need to worry about him burning us with any big plays today. So everyone should cheer him on.

Not me, I mean I don't wish the man harm or anything, but I'm sure not cheering for him, I don't want to see him catch anything... Those under the radar guys tend to burn us...
