Wow, the contributions to this thread have really deteriorated. It certainly contained valuable information regarding new stadium/seat-availability at the height of the PSL selling season a couple months ago. The Jets have been advertising PSLs like crazy on the tv, radio and web - I wonder if they are having much success?
I think whoever wanted to get seats got them...whoever didn't want them, didn't. We all know PSL's suck. Not sure what else there is to say about them? I think we were all concerned about what seats would be available when your ticket seniority year was called. Since they have blown through all season ticket holders, wait list people, fans, owners of green and white clothes, anyone who's been to McDonald's,etc...and still have thousands of seats available, I'm not sure there is much to add?? But if you have money to burn, and want seats in the new stadium, they are sitting there waiting for you to call!!
it definitely has but there is still occasionally interesting stuff. i would check here to see if anyone ever figured out how many more there are to sell. you usually find out here if there are new offers or better offers that are being given to NEW people when people who own already are being told there is no way to upgrade. i am sure it will be here where we will hear about the psls that people can no longer afford before they ever get to sit in the stadium.
IF THIS THREAD DID DIE--SO WHAT?" It has already been beyond helpful and I thank 17A for starting it and am glad that so many peoplpe added info. Let me add that as soon as the holidays are passed and Spring arrives and people begin checking out their seats in person, this thread will be rejuvinated,,,kinda like when Frosty the snowman says "happy birthday" whenever they put that magicians hat on his head
I know my rep told me they are hopeful to hang the sold out sign up by April. The personal tours are going on now, I still have to load pics from mine. Lazy Ass-
I know someone with good info who said the stadium is only half sold which is pretty much what we have all heard. They got a lot of work ahead of them. Fortunately we close this stadium out on a good note with a huge game against the Bengals but I think we have a lot of tickets on sale thru ticketmaster next season.
Got an e-mail: YOU COULD WIN A STADIUM PRIZE PACKAGE !!!!!!!OMGWDZ!!!!!!!! Wanna know how!?? Is it any more desperate than that??? http://jetsopportunityknocks.com/ Woody: ok, we need a way to get friends e-mails and stuff Intern on knees: I gawt it...weew twick dem online!
So is the parking pass nonsense going away next season? It's seriously the lamest thing of all time. Then again, with ticket prices sounding like they're going to be outrageous, I doubt I'll get to go to a game anyway. EDIT: Wow $95 is the cheapest seat in the house?
Received this message from Rob Sullivan VP New Stadium Sales " I'm writing to let you know that based on your seat location in the new NYJ stadium there are select seats available close by that offer unlimited access to an indoor lounge with a great view of the field. Even better the prices on many of these club seats have been reduced by up to 55%to as little as $195. Of course, the comforts of a climate-controlled, beautifully appointed club might not necessary appeal to you, even if it is a great view of the action. But there may be some people very close to you who would be thrilled to curl up with some hot chocolate, some great food, and good company wile you're outside screaming your frozen lungs off. So come in from the cold! Although some of the club sections are already sold out, call 800-469-5387 to discuss upgrading your location before the rest of these great seats are gone."
Funny as of today NY Jets Website is still hiring PSL reps for 6-9 month jobs. Guess plan to be sold out by opening day or just offer unsold PSL seats as season tickets. My seats are front row seats in the non PSL UD I am actually considering the offer to upgrade to a dome condition from a undome condition for a mere $70.00 per seat per game.
well let us know before hand so someone on here can swoop up first row prime uppers instead of some douche off the street who got tix in jan of 2010
I will but you do bring up a good question is that do I have to give up my outdoor seats for the offer or are they just offering me them inside for a swap of my outdoor seats. If I take the offer I will give U a heads up before accepting. I also have to find out if I can say just take 2 indoors & leave the remainder outside. I will tell U after attending game 1 in the dome at Houston it is a mighty tempting offer since being indoors in inclement or cold weather IMHO improve our appreciation of the actual game greatly
