Why does this arrogant, fat-ass continue to get so much attention?? He's not particulary insighful and is SO incredibly self-important. I listen to him on occasion but I just can't fathom why people take him so seriously.
If this doesn't make you sick, I don't know what will ... ManishMehta1 #NYJets lead NFL in fewest points allowed, total defense and rush offense. The last team to do that? 1986 Chicago Bears. #nyj 8 minutes ago from web
Damn, that is hard to swallow. The positive side is that this is just the beginning and sign of great things to come.

Lets see how good we are over the next 3 games when we play some better teams or QB's. THen again, we might not play another QB until the playoffs with teams sitting their starters.
in relation to the thread title are we talking about a level headed statement, or a poorly chewed bear claw he had before going on air.
Said they got the "Gifts of Gifts" and that the Indy Coach "Didn't want to play the game" and says that he subjected the QB to the JETS defense. Saying he doesn't agree with them benching Manning.....
Setting up a massive JETS failure saying it's automatic they'll get in next week because the Bengals will not play anybody. Gives them credit but says the JETS would not have beaten the Colts w/Manning.
Yeah, Fatcessa thinks theres no way the bengals play any of there key guys. Im not so shure about that.
Well he's probably right. We might have but the way it was going the Jets probably would have lost that one 22-16.
He spent the entire segment saying how lucky the Jets were. Okay, I understand that we had a lot of things go our way, but at least SOME credit to the Jets players who actually played the game wouldn't be outrageous.
JETS took the lead w/ Peyton in the game and held them to 9 pts. in the 1st half. While it's no Victory, I'm not ready to concede that we lose.
With Palmer getting hurt crushing their SB hopes once before, I cant see them playing him more than a quarter in a relatively meaningless game for them. Also, Ocho will either take the game off because its unimportant, or go apeshit and light us up because its New York and a nationally televised game because hes an attention whore. You cant predict what he will do. Also, the understated part of the whole situation is that we will probably end up playing them again in round 1, so if I were Marvin Lewis, I would play it like a scout game and use a vanilla playbook so they can get a good look at the Jets D and better gameplan for the important game, while preventing the Jets from getting a good look at their real formations and coverages.
we all know how he is gonna spin the jet win......he has started by ripping the giants a new one. jil
