don't the Pats have the tie-breaker over the Bengals right now for the same record? Then that means we'd play the cats twice in a row, but they get the benefit of not having to show all their cards the first time out
That's great, the Steelers beat them and they go from being out of the playoffs to in thanks to the Jets and Eagles.
That's a great point, I think we match up very well against these guys too. I don't think it's a stretch to think we could beat them in the playoffs. Unlike that Raiders team back in 2001 when John Hall nailed that long kick to get us in only to play Oakland again.
You got that right. I'll certainly roll the dice of winning two in a row against them rather than any other team. I'd rather play them than Baltimore, Pittsburgh or, well, almost anybody. We'd have nothing to lose, and if we do lose to them in Cinci they'll be no shame or embarrassment. Let's just get it done Sunday. What does Cincinnati have to play for Sunday? If you guys beat the Cats, you are the 5th seed regardless ? If that's the case, we are automatically the 3 seed no matter what we do against Houston due to you guys beating the Cats. That would match us up at home with Baltimore, I would much rather play the Ravens than the Green...........
This is going to be really interesting. If we make the playoffs, New England is locked in as the 3 seed, Cincinnati the 4, Jets the 5. So unless Baltimore or Denver or whoever pull the upset in the wild card round in Foxboro, our path from week 16 to the conference championship will be Colts, Bengals, Bengals, Colts.
Well Miami is def not making the playoffs and thats a good thing Jets just need to win...how rare and odd does that sound. Exactly 1 week ago this was a dream situation
Basically, a win by the Jets means we play the Bungles. A loss by us and you still coudl end up being the 4th seed and possibly getting the Steelers (with Polomalu) or Broncos (who you lost to. More importantly you'd avoid a second round match up with the Colts. So yes I guess you will be rooting for the Jets. The Texans hav an outside shot at the playoffs so they are going to bring their A game.
