A pretty telling stat and the biggest problem for Sanchez so far...

    Sanchez is 6' 2". Keller being 6' 3" I don't see this being an issue of a few inches.

    Oops got the Sanchez height wrong, sorry. Ok he is tall enough...

    Keller though is 6' 2" too... and he's the shortest TE in the league...

    Favre used him perfectly because he's the best TE- using QB in the league... but I'm still pissed off we didn't get Carlson...

    PS TE in the top 50 for recieving stats:

    Carlson, H. Miller, Z. Miller, Gonzalez, Witten are 6'5"

    Winslow, Celek, Gates are 6'4"

    Davis (athletic freak), Clark (plays with P. Manning) are 6'3"

    And only 2 of those guys weigh less than Keller (Gonzalez and Winslow).

    Having Keller in the middle is like having an extremely big slot reciever... but sometimes you need an actual physical TE, especially with a rook or in red zone situations... if he runs the correct route great we have a speedy man open but if you are in trouble and your TE can't get open the QB needs to throw it were DBs can't get to (high) and the TE needs to use his body to catch it. Keller doesn't do that and that's why Sanchez isn't using him as much as Favre was (ever wondered why Favre makes ANY TE look good? look at Franks or Shiancoe).

    Don't get me wrong, Keller is a good and useful player but does he provide Sanchez with a reliable and SAFE (because that's the problem with Sanchez) option? no he doesn't...

    Jet fans say that about all injuries. I knew going into the season depth was gonna be one of the huge negatives for this franchise and it will continue to be with all the picks traded away
    :up::up::up::up: Nice job Tanny!
