Here's my take on this year... -Love our new Head Coach...the man has a fire/passion for the game -Sanchez will get it together...very explosive, still mistake prone (rookie) -Thomas Jones and our other RBs are beasts...good stuff -Our defense is flat out f'ing sick/incredible/amazing/jaw droppingly talented (One year with a new defensive HC and we look like gods out there) -We're set up to be extremely competitive for the next few years...can't wait! -Braylon Edwards is going to be VERY good -The Patriots get worse every year, and we get better...little by little The Bad: -Very young team that needs more experience -HC needs to find balance between aggressive calls and reality -Sanchez needs alot of work on fundamentals, but talent is amazing at times -We need better offensive play calling -We lost Leon Washington to a bad injury Overall, very happy with direction of team and a our young talent. With a little offensive fine-tuning this team could be a Top 3 team in the league.
^^ LOL at baghead's post above me Sanchez looks lost, almost not even a rookie anymore yet no progress. I'm pissed.
After nearly 30 years you learn to live in the now. Fuck the future w the jets. It's always "were gonna be great next year!" then someones arm falls off. We should have won today. I'm not happy about it
Funny, we make 2 out of the 3 easy FGs and none of this Sanchez has made no progress talk would be around.
Right direction like Mangini's first year? Right direction like when Herm's team lost in Pittsburgh? Right direction like Groh's first year? Right direction like when Parcells took us to the AFC Championship? I've seen this movie before, only the actors have changed. This sucks. again.
