exactly... we've lost a game each this season solely because of our 1.) QB's turnovers 2.) Our defense failing to hold the lead 3.) Special teams return coverage 4.) Special teams field goal kicking actually what's funny is you can combine some of those for certain games. i.e. we could have won teh buffalo game despite the INT's if the snap wasn't botched. I think it's very sad our special teams has been SOLELY responsible for 2 losses this year. i don't think you could find a team that's done that besides a shit team like KC or someone like that
The worst thing you can give a Jets fan is hope. My only hope for the off-season is that there are no sweeping changes. Keep building on what we have now - that's the only way to succeed.
Another relaxing no pressure xmas for the boys .. Wouldnt wanna have play offs on thier minds while at the family xmas dinner table ..
I have never seen a franchise find so many ways, ultimately and crushingly, to disappoint their fanbase. With this franchise, they either suck from the outset or give their fans hope, only to have it all come crashing down in spectacular fashion. They can establish no consistency from year to year, and they are caught in the never-ending cycle of being not good enough and rebuilding.
I am grateful for one thing with the Jets. I was born in 1981 and can't remember the 70's, early 80's, and haven't experienced and a lot of the misery the older folks have. God bless you guys who have watched this for 40 years.
