The decade in sports is over this year. It's 0-9, not 1-0.

I'm not sure he should be on the list, his best years were in the 90s.

Chad for me. Any success we had in this decade came with him under center.

its tough because for some of these athletes you have to include stuff before this decade, i guess ellis cuz hes the only one whos been here the whole time and been pretty good the whole time.

I voted for Chad, with Ellis a close second. Only because Chrebet, Martin, etc. had arguably their best years in the previous decade. If you wanted to make it the best over the past 15 years, Martin without question. And the reason for Chad is simple: the most well known, pivotal, and important player on the field is the QB. In most situations, that position defines the team (not always, of course, as the Ravens and Bucs had arguably journeymen QBs in the Superbowl)
I'm not by any means declaring Chad to be the best player, just the overall most important to the team over the past 10 seasons, and the face of the franchise.

Good logic Chad was the man early in the decade and his play in 06 held a very mediocre team together to get into the playoffs.

Chad is actually like the girl you fell madly in love with but at times she disappointed you so you dumped her ass for the hottest girl in town, but the new girl didn't work out and the old one moved on. Now your stuck with a new Latina girlfriend who the idea of sounds great and she's doing okay and all but you know deep down inside you just miss the first love
