anyone know where I can find the updates for who's leading?

all I know is that Champ Bailey is beating Revis in the AFC.

    From CBSsports
ADDED: Alan Faneca is the only Jet to lead a category. Not Nick Mangold nor David Harris nor a certain deity, but the weakest starter on offense.

    Helluva thing, name recognition.

i dont even know why i care about the pro bowl

i much rather see revis be 1st team all pro then start the pro bowl. i'm sure revis will be voted in as a reserve in the pro bowl like last season.

I love how the people vote the players that were great 5 years ago. This is the 2009/2010 probowl, not 2005. Vinateiri has missed half the season, yet he's leading the votes for kickers. Mangold is the best center in the NFL, yet he's not even in the top 5 vote getters.

    Come on man!

Personally, I care about the Pro Bowl because the players care about the Pro Bowl. For some if not most NFL players, it's a major goal.

The fan balloting is a little sickening, is all.

Ha! I guess this Pro Bowl is going to be AFC vs. the Minnesota Vikings...

I just looked up Vinatieri's stats: 5 games and a 75% kick percentage. It's like this every year but it never ceases to amaze me. Fans just vote for their own team and whatever names they recognize, which makes the whole process a joke. Ugh, I shouldn't have said "process". God damn it Mangini you bastard.

I've learned to not care about the pro bowl a while ago. It's nothing but a popularity contest

Another travesty: Gholston is on the ballot for OLB, yet Pace is not.

    Indeed. Utter joke.

Is Pace ineligible because of his suspension?

I think the probowl starter list was calculated when Gholston was starting and Pace was suspended. I would love Gholston to go to the probowl, how hilarious would that be? The ultimate proof that the probowl means shit.

You say that, but the list has changed, I'm sure. Leon isn't on it, Jenkins isn't on it and they were both playing (and on the list I think) initially.

Yeah I just noticed that. I have no idea then, maybe it is the suspension because Bowe isn't on there either...

clearly the NFC teams are stacking the ballots against revis christ and mangold so they won't get embarrased in the pro bowl

Fans shouldn't vote for something as important as the pro-bowl... they only recognize big names...

However it's in the interest of the NFL to keep the fans involved so they can get more money from them... this isn't a sport anymore, it's a money league.

The Pro Bowl has been and will always be a popularity contest. It means nothing. Look at last year when the shitty Redskins sent like 7 players. All because the Skins douche bag front office had a major campaign to vote for their guys.

Dont be pissed about it. People who really know the game realize who the best players are.

Fucking Polamalu hasnt even played all year!! But he has cool hair so why not??
