even if sanchez is 100 by sunday, you all are GRAVELY underrating the value of a full week of practice, with the current weeks game plan AND the first team, to a qb sanchez has been making the correct reads for the better part of this year, but he runs into issues with timing with his receivers, particularly early on in games ... you guys dont think those issues will be compounded when he doesnt practice the entire week? i say start kc for this ONE game, to not only protect mark from injury but to protect him from an unknown (playing without practicing) ... just run, run, run!
Suck it bitches...Clemens is our QB. KC has never had this kind of chance and I will withhold all judgement until I see what he can do in regular season action. My only fear is that Schotty won't give him a chance just like he did in the preseason.
Kellen's contract expires in 4 games. I can't wait until the jets don't resign him, and then everyone has to agree he was never the guy for the backup role, let alone starter. Just to shut up the dopes, I hope he becomes a 3rd string QB on the Lions.
wow I guess I need to jump on board. Did you watch the game? He attempted two passed in 25 minutes of play? LOL
No, dude. I was on the KC bandwagon for a long time...its time to get off. The guy sucks for whatever reason. I realize he's had no big chance to play, but with last weeks performance coupled by the amount of times he's lost out in training camp. I feel he's lost all his confidence since his 3-5 run.
the whole Clemens argument is getting silly already. Are we the only ones that witnessed this guy "drop elbows" last week??! How can ANY intelligent Jet fan be comfortable with Clemens taking the snaps this Sunday.....I'll be on pins n' needles for the entire game. Clemens is a pile of shit....he has YET TO PROVE OTHERWISE in any capacity........fuck, it's not rocket science....
the only difference was he played for the Pats last year, and the Jets wanted inside info. It worked, i think, the Jets won in week 2.
im gonna take the high road on this one, clemens may be the best thing for this offense, given his track record maybe they finally commit to the style of offense that we should have been running all season, run run hard and run some more, then when theyre all softened up toss one or two, then back to the run. even clemens can do that i think now that he has had a week to prep and be ready, although as backup he should always be ready. well see tho.
I'm pretty sure that we've been doing that style of offense for a while. We have the most rushing attempts in the league and the most yards. As for Clemens, I feel that he'll manage the game effectively, and we'll win if he has no more than one or two turnovers.
