Indianapolis Colts are Entirely Beatable by The Jets

sorgi will be playing.

 

The Jets held Owen Daniels, Jeremy Shockey and Zach Miller, the better tightends they have faced, in check when they had to. They've gotten burned by a few guys who are not normally focused on (Marcedes Lewis and Dante Rosario.)

I think they have a good chance to hold Dallas Clark in check because I think they will focus on doing that. No disrespect to Clark intended but as a slot receiver he's nowhere near Wes Welker's ability. He's an excellent slot receiver but he has been shut down several times this season already. Wes Welker never gets shut down by anybody because he's just too quick, a quality that Clark does not share.

The team BTW, that totally shut Clark down was Baltimore, running basically the same scheme the Jets do. I think we can do that too as long as we plan to do it.

 

If the Colts clinch homefield before week 15, this could be an easy win for us.

 

Also, we'd get to play against Jim Sorgi for a half.

 

That is how we are going to remember this season...actually most seasons

I don't have a problem with our defense matching up and putting in a good showinng but the offense will have to play pretty much flawless and make the most of any opportunity to score. No INT's, dropped TD's, etc.

We play alot better while ahead.

 

I think it would be awesome if the Colts lost this weekend; then they may rest quite a few of their players, incuding Manning, in preparation for the divisional playoffs.

Otherwise, I think the Jets are going to have to play an amazing game to beat them.

 

We will hit the left upright with a kick and lose.

As A lifelong JETFAN the 1 thing we can say is for sure ,is there is NO SUCH THING as a easy win for the NY JETS!

Indianapolis is beatable if Peyton and co sit the game out, or just play a series or two.

if Sorgi plays the game, we have a tremendous chance of winning, unless our team's name switches to the Denver Broncos!

 

SOJ script...T jones will run for 325 yards break the single game rushing record. .....Sorgi will play and throw for 400 yds and 4 tds. We will get 0 sacks and no QB pressure. Yet some how we manage to line up for a 48 yd game winning field goal. The snap...the hold is good....Jay nails it!!!...YEA!!!!! Wait a minute...flag!?! Holding...kicking team...Who are we drafting?

 

I just don't understand how you can look forward to the 2nd to last game of the season... we have to get by two other teams first before this game even matters...

 

Funny you mention that. Because Payton is qouted as saying that they are going to go all out for the 16-0. So if we were in fact playing his team, we should expect to face their starters for a full 60 minutes.
