The Indianapolis Colts worked out former Bills quarterback J.P. Losman Friday.

Losman, who just completed the UFL season, could sign with the Colts, who are concerned about backup Jim Sorgi's recovery from a shoulder injury suffered in practice more than a month ago.

UFL players were allowed to start visiting teams and signing with teams after Dec. 1.

Seems like Buffalo should be trying him out.

    Unrelated but Funny

Wow, Bollywood wins the MVP and he cannot get an offer? UFL MVP: Six letters that strike fear into the hearts of millions...of salary cap-strapped teams, apparently.

Edit: Well, it's sort of related.

A 2-2 record, averaging 187 passing yards with a 61% completion percentage, 5 TDs, and 4 INTs, is good for him, but probably doesn't rise to the level of "ownage" (the Jets were lucky to win the December game last year against Buffalo, but not because of him - he was terrible in that game). On the other hand, he does actually "own" the Texans and Vikings (67% completion percentage, 5 TDs, 1 INT, 245 passing yards per game, and a 3-0 record).

Watch the Colts sign him and go on to win the Super Bowl. That would make the second Buffalo quarterback castoff to get a ring. Rob Johnson with Tampa Bay was the other.

Good to be the Colts right about now. So bored with winning they're tweaking their backup roster.
