All right guys, I got some tough decissions to make in the playoffhunt in a couple of leagues, give me your opinions. TD Heavy 0.5 PPR League: Jamaal Charles (Den) or Maroney (Mia) Big Ben (Oak) or Vince (@Ind) 0,5 PPR League: Steve Smith CAR (TB) or Derrick Mason (@GB) Knowshon Moreno (@KC) Jon Stewart (TB) or Brandon Jacobs (Dal)
Jennings has been awful this year Bryant is too inconsistent and always seems hurt I go Cartwright given that its at home, the weather should be bad and NO isn't great against the run. I see him hopefully getting 50/60+ yds and at least a score I have to pick two - 2nd RB and Flex. 1st rd of playoffs B. Wells vs Minnesota (prob not w/ Warner banged up) R. Cartwright vs NO F. Jones vs Giants S. Smith vs Tampa Given that I told you to go w/ Cartwright, I'm probably gonna as well. But should I start Jones thinking he gets some big yds vs NY or hope that Smith gets the rock from Matt Moore on Sunday? I hear Tampa's Talib CB, may miss Sunday. Anyone?
RB R. Mendenhall tough choices here L. Johnson (If they get out to a lead I see them resting Benson and letting LJ get the reps) Cartwright/Felix - Everyone seems to think C. Brown will get the goal line touches instead of Slaton, but I don't really know so I'm going w/ my gut here. Also Felix can always hit a HR and playing the GMen he just might after Marion wears them down. I'd wait until Sunday to make the decision WR Moss Smith - no Bradshaw, Eli is gonna rely on the passing game Chambers - KC will either be trailing or in a shootout IMO R. Williams sucks and Meachem going up against a very good secondary
Palmer vs Det, or Smith vs SEA (smith is hot right now) Mason @ GB, or Rob Meachum @ Wsh Moreno @ KC, or Sproles @ CLE
I have the same players, minus Julius Jones. My RBs..... Michael Turner Jonathan Stewart LenDale White (shit this year) Rock Cartwright Jason Snelling Jerious Norwood I am going with the Rock and Stewart (DeAngelo is inactive, Stewart starting). I am guessing Eagles jump on a banged up Falcons team early, forcing them to throw. With no Ryan, Turner or I hear Jenkins, running yards may be hard to come by. Just my opinion.
I can start five RB's and WR's this week (two RB's, two WR's and one flex), which five of this group should I go with? RB - R. Williams, Benson, Turner/Norwood/Snelling WR - Ochocinco, Smith (NYG), Sims-Walker, Cotchery Ricky, Benson and Ochocinco seem like mortal locks, leaning towards Smith and Sims-Walker for the other two spots. Cotchery's solid but with the questions on Sanchez's health and the gameplan I'm not sold on going with him and I kind of want to stay away from the Atlanta RB mess now.
Kurt, they seem to be rolling right now. With Pitt playing Cleveland, they'll rush first, pass second.
I'm starting Jackson in my league, the Giants defense will have a ton of trouble with him. Last game he had 3 receptions for 78 yards and a TD, plus 1 punt return for 30 yards.
League 1: 1 of Roy Williams vs SD, Cotchery @ TB, Breaston @ SF? I was leaning towards Cotch, but with Sanchez hurting, I'm thinking Roy. League 2: 2 of S. Rice vs Cin, V. Jackson @ Dal, Garcon vs Den, Chambers vs Buf Jackson should be a no brainer, but he's been struggling lately. I still think I have to dance with the guys that got me to the playoffs (Rice & Jackson).
I would stay away from Cotchery with Kellen starting. I would go with Roy. Rice and Jackson seems to be the way go to. You might want to think about Garcon could with Champ covering Wayne.
yepp, I would go with Garcon instead of Rice, with Champ covering Wayne he should have another great game
BTW, if you have Rock Cartwright, make sure to drop him in favor of Quinton Ganther who is now starting for the Redskins.
I have to start 2 guys out of these 3- who should I sit? Knowshon v. Indy Jamal Charles v. Buffalo Jacobs v. Eagles Right now I have Jacobs on the bench.
I may go Jacobs over Charles but it is closer than it should be! For me it is between Deshawn Jackson and Jacobs they paly each other and jackson is coming off a concussion.
I think you probably have it right. I think Charles may be the best play of the 3, especially if it's a PPR league. Knowshon could be the biggest risk, if Indy puts up points early.
