Struggling NY Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez gets endorsement from former NY Giants QB Phil Simms by Dave Hutchinson - Nov. 26, 2009 > http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2009/11/struggling_ny_jets_quarterback.html
Kelly, do you EVER come up with your own opinions? I have yet to see you post something that isn't just a link to an article.
we're not goin' to win the sb this season anyway so ; let mark play & get the experience . . p.s. hopefully we can upgrade our roster in the off-season & win it all next season . . .
At this point we have no choice. Benching Sanchez now would not be the answer. Rex is getting more involved with helping the kid. Replacing Shotty in the off season would be nice.
this part is key........ hopefully with the pressure of "must win" off, he'll be told to relax & just "play" and not press into bad decisions. with any luck, the speed of the game will slow down for him by the end of the season, opening up things for next year.
I will have to say, Phil Simms is practically cupping the balls of Mark Sanchez. Its a little embarrassing. During the NE game the other day, he actually said something to the effect of Mark Sanchez being an all-weather QB. Apparently he did not see the Bills game. The only way he's an all-weather QB is if he attempts no passes and hands off to Jones the entire game. I think Sanchez has a chance to be a good NFL QB, but right now there honestly isn't a whole lot to be upbeat about. Hopefully that will change.
Exactly. Or even the Titans games where a slippery ball made him fumble and he also spiked one on the ground. He cant play well in the elements, but im sure he'll adapt sooner or later. It isnt sunny in NJ like it is 95% of the time in Socal....
