Didn't see this posted. Per ESPN.com. Let's hope this has some kind of a positive effect, as petty as it seems.

Sanchez just needs time to develop.....that's what the masses need to understand...the kid is still learning for christs' sakes.

He wasn't going to come in and win a damn SuperBowl in his first year. And good on Rex, for attempting to simplify things for the kid.....we all know Schotty's playbook isn't exactly Dr.Seuss.

Good article, Jake.....it defenitly reinforces the point that Sanchez is still a work in progress. I hope some of the more critical posters will call off the dogs somewhat....after reading this article.

I like how he is trying hard to make himself "The Sanchize".... inviting the entire organization over for Thanksgiving shows that he relishes the role....unlike a certain guy that is now throwing balls to guys in purple.

Agree Completely. He's handling adversity for the frist time in his sporting life. He was the Star in his startign time on a powerful USC team. Now he's taking his lumps early in his NFL craeer. Its to be expected.

Things needed to be simplifed. He we did it for Brett fucking Favre, why not for the rookie just coming in?

Its a good sign for the organization that Ryan is stepping in as a head coach should. Get the kid confidence and playing well over the last few games, and for god's sake get "any drive that ends in a kick is a good drive" beaten into his brain.

Rex made it a little too confusing I would say. I looked at the codes and they are rough. For instance, the code for let it rip is X, Y, A, B, X,Up Arrow, Down Arrow, B,X Right Trigger, X,Y, Down Arrow, Left Trigger, X.

That hadn't really dawned on me until now.

There's something to be said about training camps, though; Kellen Clemens has four to Sanchez's one.

Yeah and Sanchez is 1-0 while Clemens is 0-3 (not counting his rookie year) in QB competitions during those TCs. Clemens is obviously not a starter.

you need a F*CKING "system"!! Sanchez tracks 1 reciever and lets it fly regardless of coverage.....what a joke.........Ryan is really starting to worry me...is he really HC material?? and he says he is going to get involved with O play calling?? I think he is panicking as much as Sanchez is they both cant THINK STRAIGHT under pressure at this point

I am very concerned because sanchez needs codes to teach him not to make bad mistakes. he should learn by himself.

everything about his personality is screaming that we made the right choice with this kid. he really seems to want to get better and is willing to put in the effort to do that. i think he is going to be fine in the long run.
