Obviously, because he self admittedly has ignored his offense. If I was Ryan I'd have a lot more confidence in that defense vs that offense.

Belichik spends half the game on the sidelines with the defense, but he has total confidence in his offense.

Bill Belichick kept sorry-ass Bledsoe in there until he lucked into Brady. He's definitely not the infallible genius that everyone in Boston holds him up to be. He was sitting on the hot seat before he stuck gay gold with Mo Lewis' bone-crushing blast to DB.

Yeah, my point being, BB made a bad decision to do that; we don't need to base the Jets organization's decisions on WWBBD because, clearly, he errs in judgment also.

I agree and I also feel that if PICK6EZ loses his confidence, Cryin' Ryan will regret his decision. T-Rex is a rookie too and is making rookieish mistakes. IMO RHODES should take a seat too! he is a non-factor this year and refuses to hit a soul. Rex has a lot to learn and so does Mark. The next question is: should Schotty be here next year?

I gotta tell you, it's pretty pathetic for a Dolphins fan to see some of you guys wondering what the coach of a hated rival would do. I expect to read this kind of crap at the Bills forum.

Let's not pretend that Dolphins forums are lacking in dumbass threads. I could browse Finheaven for about 10 minutes and pull a dozen for you.

You're right, but I doubt you'll see any threads wondering if Rex Ryan would play Chad Henne or anything close to equivalent. We usually reserve the stupid ones for who we cut and fire after a loss.

The brand of stupidity doesn't matter as much as the degree.

    Strictly speaking...

    Technically, Bellichick is a mammal.

Also Cassel had randy moss and wes welker, not discreditting the talent of cotch or edwards, but there is a difference. Those guys catch everything thrown their way while edwards and keller drop every third ball.

He probably would have plugged in Tom Brady at some point in the season...

Hmmm considering the list of QB's who played under him until he struck gold in Brady reads like a list of immoble and awful QB's I'd say he really wouldn't know what good QB talent was if it bit him in the ass.

Here is the good list of the QB's that took snaps under the Chicken before Mo Lewis destroyed Bledsoe

1991 Browns 6-10 Bernie Kosar and Todd Philcox
1992 Browns 7-9 Mike Tomzack, Bernie Kosar, Todd Philcox and Brad Geobel
1993 Browns 7-9 Vinny T, Bernie Kosar , Todd Philcox
    1994 Browns 11-5 Vinny T, Mark Rypien
    1995 Browns 5-11 Vinny T, Eric Zeier
2000 Pats 5-11 Bledsoe, Michael Bishop and John Friesz

I'd say Brady has made Belly more then Belli made Brady.... granted Chicken didn't draft all those guys but he never really improved the QB position either. In all of those seasons with teh exception of 2000 and 1991 did the same QB start all 16 games and in 92, 93 and 94 3 seperate QB's started for various reasons. It's also ironic that Belly has only has 2 winning seasons when Brady hasn't been the main guy for Belly.

Bela'cheat would indeed keep Mark Sanchez behind center. He would definitely set him up for success. We have the third ranked defense for whatever that's worth. We have a top 5 running game. These are all ingredients to a winning team. Why this hasn't translated to the actual win - loses column is anyone's guess , but certainly the quarter back play has a lot to do with it. There are certain plays that are pretty much guaranteed to work and we don't seem to be running them.
I know Sanchez gets painted as a strong arm that can sling it , but when you have a run game the Chad- like safety valve plays are an option. He doesn't have any dump off option , so he flings it into traffic....simple! Rex is deferring to shotty , when it comes to Sanchez. I don't think he's involved with the kid as much as we might think.

    Top 2 rushing offense
    Pretty good defense

    yet the Jets are 4-6

No, most coaches would have let him adjust and take it all in on the bench at least the first half of the season.

Sanchez "could" be ruined with all this

    16INT
    9 fumbles and lost balls

That's given the ball to your opposition 25 times in 10 games!!!!!!
    Do the math

Had a game manager QB with some experience started, the Jets would probably be 6-4
