My money is on Snyder hiring Shanahan and trading whatever is necessary to move up and make Claussen Jay Cuter v2.0. Similar skill set, similar attitude, same initials. Just makes too much sense.

    valid points....and it could happen.

But in light of Bulger's latest injury....I think Claussen puts on a Ram's draft cap next April.

yeah, I think the Rams grab him first before the Skins ever get the chance. They'll be the first team on the board who needs a QB, and the only other possibilities I could see there would be Jake Locker or maybe Ryan Mallett if they come out early.

Theoretically, I could see Mike Shanahan drafting a Colt McCoy. They say he is like a younger Jake Plummer. Shanahan could end up in either Buffalo or Washington. McCoy's passing percentage is down, but with someone like Shanahan, he could flourish. Along with that, McCoy is going to drop in the draft, allowing you to draft some talent that you can not pass on.

cutler's arm strength isn't something most QBs have.

Jimmy Clausen is my #1 rated quarterback, but watch out for Arkansas' Ryan Mallett if he decides to enter the draft.

Mallett has rocket launcher attached to his shoulder, so there's going to be at least one coach who falls in love with the kid's arm strength. It always happens.

Clausen will be a franchise quarterback...no matter where he ends up. Write it down. He's one of the most polished passers that I've seen in a long time. Notre Dame would be a BCS contender if Charlie Weis had a fucking clue.

Colt McCoy is going to drop in the draft because there'll be a ton of quarterbacks that are better pro prospects than him.

People see his stats and jizz in their pants.

He doesn't have a good frame.

He doesn't have a strong arm.

He doesn't play in an offense that translates over to the NFL.

Not sure where Clausen winds up, but I'm more and more convinced Mike Singletary abandons the Alex Smith Experiment and fellow tough-as-nails Jesus Freak Tim Tebow plays for the Niners. "I want winners!"

Looking at the teams at the top of the draft right now, Nov 24th.

    Cleveland...QB....Maybe (Coach Change) (But doubtful)
    St Louis.....QB...Yes
    Tampa Bay....QB...No
    Detroit.......QB...No
    Washington....QB....Yes
    Buffalo.....QB....Yes (Coach Change)
    KC.......QB....No

IMO, Rams are on target for Jimmy C. Clausen would probably fit in well with the Ram's organization and give the Franchise something to build around.

It's called being realistic that no one will trade with them. Are we forgetting that St. Louis will desperately need a QB too? Washington will only have a 2,4,5 and 7th round pick left because they've already spent the 3rd and 6th round picks. Going all the way from 5th to 2nd is going to cost them more than even Snyder can afford
