via Jets' Twitter / Randy Lange:

Jets inactives for today's Jets-Patriots game: QB Erik Ainge, CB/KR Justin Miller, LB Vernon Gholston, LB Ryan Fowler .. LB Kenwin Cummings, G Matt Slauson and DE Ropati Pitoitua. Kevin O'Connell, as he was for Game 2 vs. NE, is 3rd QB, game captain. Jim Leonhard will start at safety despite his thumb injury. Dwight Lowery will start at RCB for Lito Sheppard but Sheppard will play.

Jim Leonhard is a fucking tank.

Dwight Swipe will do fine today. I bet it's pretty fucking hard to play across from the best corner in the game.

Lowery does alright for getting attacked so much in every game. His inexperience shows a lot, but he also makes a few really nice plays every now and then.

We're past that already, none of his playing time matters anymore.

    He's not that good.

With Leonhard starting, I really hope the thumb injury isn't that serious. I have a feeling this may bite us in the ass, considering this team plans on having Cotchery return kickoffs (or is it punts? In either case, that makes no sense what so ever).

Also, does this mean Leonhard is giving out the calls still, or is it still on Harris?
