After Going (3-0) the last 6 games the Jets vs. opponents points have been:

    Opponents-125
    Jets-135

    Record during that stretch: (1-5)

Stuff like that blows my mind.

it tells you straight up, that every week we are in a game in the mid-upper 20's, that we seem to lose.

Oh and that 1 win, 38-0 over oakland really skews the stats in our favor...

Jenkins on IR will make things worse very soon.

Carolina could have a field day.

In our 5 losses, we've been outscored by a grand total of 28 points

    We're cursed

Yeah, the Raiders game does skew it, but it shows the Jets keep losing these close games and its a killer.

Looking at the actual games is upsetting too:
Saints loss by 14 (They are 9-0)
Dolphins loss by 4 (When we couldn't play worse D)
Bill loss by 3 (Sanchez 5 INT's still got it to OT)
Dolphins loss by 5 (Yeah, the Jets dominated that game)
Jaguars loss by 2 (Plenty of opportunities)

Take the game out on the road against a 9-0 team and it is 4 losses by 14 points against teams we should have beat. Thats tough to swallow as a fan.

Not to mention the Saints didn't beat us...Mark Sanchez did.

Seriously, this is a team which if everything falls into place could easily win a conference titel and maybe even a championship...and we are learning this year what happens to this team when everything falls out of place.

    One week our OFFENSE SUCKS
    Next week our DEFENSE SUCKS
The week after our SPECIAL TEAMS SUCKS
    Then again our DEFENSE SUCKS

No sound fundamental football on the three phases of this laid-back jets team.

It really does suck for us fans, but there is nothing we can do about it. A close loss is still a loss. Thanks to the Colts win yesterday, technically we are still in it if we somehow come up with the big upset next week.

These are unfortunately great points. The Jets only had 1 game where they played really well in all 3 phases and that was in Oakland. You could argue it happened in Houston, but the offense did not do that much really. A couple plays here and there. If all 3 units could play good, they can win any game, even this Sunday.

Absolutely. The coaching staff has been awful lately. Torry Holt is 62 years old and Pontius Ryan decides to sacrifice our savior and put Revis Christ on him?

We also are the only team with a losing record that has scored more points then the opponents. Even if u take out the raiders game!

Jets have been cursed since the season following SBIII. Shit consistently happens to this team that rarely happens to almost any other team. I will however, be a Jets fan till death.

Agreed. We just never seem to see a complete game from the whole team - even when we win.

That's what is making this season so freakin maddening.

Rex Ryan needs like a Senior Assistant Coach who is proven to be successfull in the NFL.
Schotty has to go...That guy thinks hes being creative on offense

Ding Ding Ding Ding!!! We have a winner.

I am not saying Rex Ryan can't or isn't a good coach. He just isn't trying to prove that he is. I have noticed a lack of consistent gameplanning by the CS over the past 6 or 7 games. At the beginning of the year i saw solid adjustments made on the offensive side of the ball, while the D didn't need to make many. The following couple of weeks it was just the opposite. Then it reverted again. Hopefully by week 13 or so we can get the staff on the same page and make the right adjustments consistently each game and at leats play the role of spoiler. I would like to say prepare for the playoffs, but I don't see it this year. There is just too many obstacles to overcome.

Are you Rex Ryan? Its not all on execution. At the least, it would be coaching, coaching, execution.
