Dbrick doesnt look much bigger than anyone else in the pic-he better gain some weight before the season-and whatsup with all the finger in ass references?
Ferguson will not be scoring TD's himself, but unless you have good blocking, it doesn't matter who you have on offense. The Raiders proved that last year when they had Jerry Porter, Lamont Jordan, AND Randy Moss and they STILL sucked...Why? Because they also had one of the worst Olines in the NFL. Let me reiterate...that having guys like Vernon Davis is important, but the offensive line is what makes the O go...
The one thing that grabs me, more than anything mentioned by the rest of you, is that Brick just doesn't look that big. Granted, he's in the back of the picture, plus everyone else around him is a very decent size, sans Bush.
Marvin Powell who was one of our better OT was what I would call a skinny big man. The guy looked like a Giant version of a WR stretched Up and sideways.
Not sure but I read your thread and took a better look at the pic. Yes generally he does look small for O-line. But to give Brick some benefit, everyone in the shot is at an angle. Brick and Reggie are dead on. If he was at an angle I think we would be able to see a little bit more "body" on him. Also hes looking down a little bit. It isnt much but just the way his head is looking throws off maybe an inch. Finally,. theres all the talk about his big long arms but Reggie and Hollywood boy are in the way of seeing him be able to scratch his knees while standing straight up. But other then that, yeah he does look a little small. Camp will fix that though Is it just me or does it look like his mom dressed him? Everyones in a suit and theres Brick in a tie and sweater. They're going to the club after the shoot, Brick is going to Sunday school.
D. Ferguson looks like actor Bill Duke in that picture. Ah, yes. The President of the United States. Any Jets fan worth their salt....
