I'm pissed, but what can I do? I love the game of football, and I will continue following the Jets in the hope that one day I'll get to watch them carry the Lombardi trophy. On that day all of the shit I've been through will be worth it. Each week of disappointment makes the joy of our eventual Super Bowl championship that much more sweet.
To all the haters who think that they can escape the life of pain that is being a Jets fan, good luck But what you don't know is that once you start rooting for the Jets, it's stuck in you. It's like herpes, once you have it, you just got that shit. And while you think you're happy watching your new flavor of the week team, you'll always be sneaking a peek at the Jets game, and every time they start out well, you'll get the warm feeling, and then when the inevitable happens, you'll feel like ass all over again and you'll be just as miserable and it won't matter how your new team is doing, because fuck, you've just caught another outbreak of the jets. Just suck it up like the rest of us, there's always next year!
Yeah I'll always stick around too, I just can't wait until the Patriots are finally bad again and their fan population goes down 80%.
